Wonderful Stuff
I’ve used this and other products from this company for several years…..wonderfully moisturizing. Great seven. Not overpowering.

Soaks into hands
I’ve been using beeswax for treating dry hands for about 7 years now and there’s no substitute for its natural healing properties. The other brand I normally purchase and use will still be bought because I like it and it works great. I was a little skeptical with this one but, it does work great. It’s just a little more greasier but, it will be absorbed by your hands if you keep rubbing it for a couple of minutes. I like the smell of cedar and it does soften my hands after application. The instructions say, “a little dab” and they meant it. Doesn’t take much to lather both hands. Even after washing my hands a few times I can still smell the cedar scent. Also, beeswax has natural antibacterial properties so it does help keep your hands somewhat clean. I bought this beeswax salve because it comes in a screw top can that’s compact so I can carry in my pocket or EDC bag. Applying the salve several times a day will help keep your hands hydrated and lessen the chance of developing dry skin cracking, which is what I deal with mostly in the colder months. Using beeswax has saved my hands from experiencing cracking that causes pain and I will buy more of this savanna bee company salve when my can gets low unless I find something better and cheaper.

Lovely balm but I picked the wrong scent for sure!
We chose Cedar scent so that it would be “manly” enough for the guys in the family to use on rough hands. I was excited to try it myself and found that the Cedar aroma was far more like an antiseptic smell. I don’t think the product “went bad” but it was unpleasant enough that nobody wanted the smell lingering on their hands. That said, the texture was nice and it seemed to be good at softening, but we each only used it one time before deciding that the smell was too overpowering and lasted too long since we found it unappealing.Perhaps we will take the chance and order a different scent, but this one was not it for us.

Terrible smell overshadowed the products effectiveness.
The Cedar scented Beeswax Salve smells absolutely terrible. It may work well, but we could not get past the smell.
