Seems to be working ok after a few weeks. One star off because connector seemed pretty loose on bulb. Hopefully, by the time this bulb gives up, LED replacements will be dirt cheap. Decent color, used for closet lamp and wanted natural color not airport landing light bright white.

Right color temp for modeling
I use this bulb with a magnifying lamp to assist my modeling. I am currently working on the USS Constitution 1/96 Revell model and there are a lot of really small parts. The problem with my old bulb was that it was too cold or blue. Caused me to get eye strain. This build has a nice warm output for what I need to do.

Sure glad I found this product for my lamp
I was at a loss at my inability to find a replacement for my desk lamp. The lamp is a very important fixture in my sewing room. About ready to give up, I decided to go to the GE website and get more information. How very lucky I was to find that Amazon stocked a replacement bulb. I ordered one immediately, hoping it would fit my lamp. I received the light bulb within a few days, of course, free shipping. Oh happy day! It worked as soon as I turned the switch after installing the bulb. Hurrah for Amazon.com!
