Ladies love this food! They go crazy for it and I love that it’s whole grains. Only downside is that there are a lot of crumbs and that’s frustrating because the chickens won’t really eat them as much. I also think this is a bit overpriced since I can find the same brand at tractor supply for like $30

Definitely notice a difference in the smell and taste of the eggs when frying them up, so much better than when I was feeding them a different organic and soy free option - The pellets are a good size and hold their shape, not many crumbs - Shipping has been consistently earlier than expected and food packaged perfectly

Never thought I'd type these words, but this chicken feed is beautiful! Purchased the Whole Grain variety. First thing I noticed, no dust or strange gritty powder. It's quite nice to look at and makes for a great sensory experience when grabbing a handful. My hens love it! They are fairly picky and will often pick through their (now former) feed leaving behind all the bits and ingredients they do not like. Not this stuff. They devour every morsel. As for egg production, my girls were already power layers. I did not observe an increase in production; however, the yolks are visibly darker and richer in color.In short, love this stuff! It's a bit on the pricey side. If you can't afford to rely solely on this feed, I recommend buying a bag to mix in and supplement your normal feed. Your flock will appreciate it!

It’s great feed for colder months. It’s what I needed for my semi wild chickens

Some of my girls were impressed, others just weren’t interested. I used it along with pellets and everyone was happy. Went to a different brand and all seem to be doing great.

I keep two scissor beaks, one is pretty severe and can only eat a mash. I appreciate the organic nature to this feed. My girls love it. I actually take a scoop of this feed, soak it in water then blend it to make it easier for my scissor to eat. Even though it’s a mash there are still some bigger pieces and this prevents my scissor from being able to pull it into her mouth from her beak..blending it after it soaks solves this issue.

Unfortunately, the package arrived, opened and was packed in a separate bag which was also ripped opened and had spilled into the box. I didn't realize I was unable to return this item so I'm stuck with a damaged bag of food.
