love this brand for high quality cords and cables. this one is VERY thick and feels solid. it might be a bit *too* thick, but i'd rather have that than a cable that bends and twists itself to death. works great for PCVR and any other sort of USBC -> PC needs. this one is specifically better than the kiwi one because i can use it for my phone, too- the tiny bit of extra length at the actual plug lets it clear the bottom of my phone case, which the kiwi cable did not.

Using 5m cable for an Elgato Teleprompter - works great. This cable allows me to place my Elgato Prompter far enough from my PC to be useful. This is not the least expensive USB-C 5m cable. This is for those applications that require a lot of data to pass through that long cable. The Elgato Prompter uses just one cable for power and data to the prompter monitor. Many different reviews state to only use the included Elgato USB-C cable. If you just need power, this may not be the best cable - plenty of cheaper options that will just deliver amps (Don't expect anything other than power). If you need a full functioning, high speed USB cable to push power and data - this is a good option.

Currently the 16 foot 10 Gbps version of this cable is $55 which is $25 less than the Quest Link. This makes it a good comparable alternative. However, like the Quest Link it maxes out at 3A / 5V charging which will not keep the Quest 3 charged if you have Wifi on and are running native games. With Wifi off, no bluetooth devices, and offloading the work to a PC it will still discharge but slowly enough that it will typically last 5 - 6 hours or more if not indefinitely. I have seen some other cables of this length that claim 20 Gbps AND 100 Watt PD Power Delivery charging or higher but I'm skeptical particularly since they are the same price or less. Cable Creations reasonably trust worthy brand for cables. You can see in my speedtest results using a Samsun 990 Pro and 20 Gbps Maiwo external enclosure it maxed out the claimed 10 Gbps speed of the cable even at 16 feet.

Damn sturdy cord. It is thick and covered in rubber. I have never seen anything as good as this. However,... I'm not sure if it is my device or the cord. Some cords work fine with my Google Pixel C tablet. Other cords cause my tablet's touch screen to not work right. Contents will display but it does not allow touch. Most cords don't work right. Including this one. This is a well known problem with the Pixel C. So I have to unplug it if I'm using the Pixel C. I understand the specifications on the cords have changed. According to many google channels most USB cords don't have the up-to-date wiring specs. Maybe this cord is not up to the spec? I just don't know how to test...

Perfect for meta vr or any uses of usb c needs haven’t had any issues with this in over a couple years! I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another should the need arise again!

I purchased this device, the 16' USB to USB-C Connector for my Meta Quest 2 headset. This device is working properly, but all I have are USB-2 cords and I needed a USB-3.0 cable with a USB to USB-C to work with my desktop as I do not have any USB-C to USB-C connectors on this tower. The cable came nicely packaged and wrapped, but even upon the very first connection, I was never able to get a stable connection to the Meta Quest. Every 2-3 seconds the screen would flash for a connection, and it would fall away. Flash again, fall away. Over and over and over and over. USB-2 cables I have plugged into the USB-3 slots and USB-2 slots performed adequately, but the data rates just aren't high enough. But they work. They don't drop connection or lose data, or error out. So the device itself and my computer are working fine. The cable is also noisy, lots of crackling like a short in the wire right out of the bag or the insulating foil snapping and breaking due to being too brittle. I had high hopes for this, and I am heavily disappointed in the failure of this product. I am returning for a replacement, so I hope that this resolves the issue and the 2nd cord works as it should.
