Gardena 8250-U Sprinkler System Pipeline Water Connector

I ordered this item through Tooled-Up. Unfortunately the item in the Gardena box was not the end connector point with automatic stop-valve, but the start point without stop valve. When I connected these points in my installation and tested, I noted that water was spilling out of these units and only the realised that the end adapters were different than the ones on the pictures of the box.I tried to return the item, but refund was rejected with the argument that faults have to be notified within 7 days and the fact that I used the item to test it is considered as acceptance. I could have a long debate with them about hidden and apparent faults, but would not order through Tooled-Up again.

I have a rainwater harvesting tank below ground complete with a pump and a supply pipe routed below ground and with these Gardena connectors at strategic points around the garden it saves a long trailing hose. it is brilliant

Ich habe ein System mit 5 Wassersteckdosen installiert. Es ging alles recht gut. Man muss nur bedenken, die Rohre tief in die Anschlüsse zu stecken (es muss ein Widerstand überwunden werden). Beim ersten unter Druck setzen mit Wasser aus einer Gartenpumpe zeigte sich, dass das Stoppventil in einer der 5 Steckdosen defekt war. Wie bereits von anderen Rezensenten mehrfach beschrieben und mit Fotos belegt, sprühte das Wasser aus feinen Rissen oder Löchern des Stoppventils. Ich war gezwungen, mir eine neue Steckdose zu kaufen, weil ich die Teile bereits vor 2 Jahren gekauft, aber erst jetzt eingebaut habe. Interessanterweise kostet das Stoppventil als Ersatzteil nur unwesentlich weniger als die ganze Steckdose. Aus dieser Erfahrung und beim Lesen der Rezensionen kommt man zum Schluss, dass das Stoppventil gravierende Qualitätsprobleme aufweist (Risse und schnelle Rostbildung). Es wäre sehr aufschlussreich, wenn sich Gardena zu diesem Problem äußern könnte. Gibt es inzwischen ein qualitativ verbessertes Ventil? Kann das Ventil als Ersatzteil kulanterweise nicht zu einem vernünftigen Preis verkauft werden?

Essendo in plastica, messo nel terreno credo inizi a fare qualche problema....allora ho creato una nicchia in cemento e l'ho riempita di sabbia....risultato: non si muove e quando piove risulta sempre pulito....ottimo acquisto...consiglio di creare una chiave di arresto per i periodo invernali così non si rovinano i componenti plastici
