18 Wheels of Steel Extreme Trucker 2 - PC

I didn't play It long enough to know now why I deleted It. It's been a while, Maybe I didn't set It up right, It was one of the few that worked on windows 7, but even if having Montana in It, "I don't recall getting to that tho", - maybe It's a "Keyboard Game".? I didn't keep It on My Harddrive, for whatever reason. But I know I wanted to use My Logitec Wheel & Petals and I don't think I could set It up for that. Dunno. G-G

It an ok game. My bf loved it.

This is a good game. Most of the locations are great. Also it works. The item had arrived soon after order.

Added some roads to ET Ice Road, Aussie, & Bolivia maps - CHEAP! 2 new maps: Montana - where you drive on some "logging roads" - only one short segment was like a REAL logging road - very bumpy - the rest were well groomed dirt roads - without the usual pot holes & wash boards; then there's the Bangladesh map - just a couple rickity wood bridges you need to go slow over - the rest of it was non-extreme, smooth sailing!

Having had the original version of this game, I had expected a huge improvement when they released an update, in much the same way as the massive improvement between Euro Truck Simulator & then the German Truck Simulator...Sadly, what they've done is, well very little...added a couple of extra regions, one of which could have been brilliant, speaking of Montana, but the game play is rubbish, graphics are no improvement on the first game at all, & the other new region, Bangladesh...well lets just say I've no wish to even try it, I've seen it & it's of no more interest to me than the Yungas Road...They could have made a great Simulator game, using only the ice road & the Montana regions, which would sell very well I'm certain, with the popularity of the TV shows 'Ice Road Truckers' & 'Axemen'If they made an entire simulator, modelled on the ice road for example, & had as much area of roads as in German Truck Simulator, allowing load choice, full pick up & drop off of loads rather than just driving into a spot on the road it could be a brilliant game, but having played this for a couple of days I quickly regretted wasting my money & it hasn't been played since...It's actually difficult to believe that it's the same company who produce German Truck Sim, that are turning out this load of...I can't think of a word suitable to type on this review...I certainly would not recommend this game to anyone...save your money, find something which has had more thought put into it...this entire game has been little more than an afterthought..!

i dont like it because it is very slow on every computer i have played it oni would prefer 18 wheels of steel haulin.

It can get very interesting to say the least once you are not driving in USA. Restarting from the beginng on each mission may become an every trip occurence!LOL

Grandson play this all Christmas vacation. He loves games with trucks and cars, so he can see how many great crashes he can have, as well as his driving skills.

This game over exceeded my expectations! It works flawlessly with Windows 8.1, and the graphics are absolutely insane for a 2011 game! The animated sounds for changing gears (manual) are very realistic. The sliding effect on the winter road map are great as well! I run this game with my Logitech Steering wheel and pedals which work great with this game, especially because I can program the buttons to shift gears, etc.This game as a radio (R) which you insert your own songs into...("Eastbound and Down, Loaded up and truckin..." by Jerry Reid) Anyway, that is just one cool feature about this game. Overall I would highly recommend it!I can't wait for American Truck Simulator from this same developer to come out!

Loved it

I bought this game to try because I am an old fart and I cannot keep up with the shooter type games due the necessity of using and remembering all the various keys. This game is straight forward and I was able to use my Microsoft racing wheel to control my truck which I absolutely loved!

If your into a almost real life Truck driving video game! Than this one if you!
