You will be doomed if you have a faulty faucet because it won't show you the warning light for filter replacement. You need to disconnect the power supply of the faucet and flush out the system to get the latest status of the filters. Pretty clumbersome but fortunately the support team can explain how you could troubleshoot....if you could get hold of them. Good luck.

**Q: How long can I keep these filter in storage**
A: Not really sure -- we've had ours for a year (bought them at the time we bought the system) and so far so good.

**Q: I am considering this unit for my 2nd home and expect to use sparingly-- is the filter replacement dependent on time elapsed or amount of water used?**

**Q: Am i correct in my assumption that this is not an nsf certified water filtration system?**
A: They were going through the NSF testing process for a while, but now their website and the product description on Amazon states that it is an NSF 58 & 372 CERTIFIED water filtration system with NSF certified replacement filters.

We are sorry to tell you that those three filters for the G3 system can not work with the G2 system. 
The G2 system has two composite filters, which are CF filter and MRO filter. Both of them will be in stock in April.
