It's basically PC insurance 🤷♂️
Absolutely love Corsair products, and not because I'm one of those brainless sheep who only buys big name brands, but because Corsair makes quality stuff. I'll never use any other brand of PSU, because after trying 6 or 7 other brands, the quality just doesn't compare. Sure, it's pricey. But the PSU is probably something you want to spend money to ensure it works. This PSU will give you that piece of mind 👍

Whisper quiet and had everything I needed.
You might notice that I put ease of installation at three stars, and be dissuaded. Please read, because I am actually personally happy with my purchase. I want to say it's even quieter than I hoped. Enough power for my needs, has worked just fine, no struggle whatsoever. I think it was a solid investment, and I'm pretty pleased with it. The modular nature of the design allowed me to use only the cables I needed, and the -only- thing I might have asked for was a bit more flexibility in the cables themselves. I wasn't able to route them the way I had wanted to, which was not a significant detriment for my purposes but may be a more considerable factor in yours. I truly consider this purchase worthy of 4.5-5 stars. I am not dissatisfied. But if you are working on a project that requires very specific cable management, you might need to do a little additional work.

Very well designed, super quiet but still effective
Did a lot of research before buying and this unit was well reviewed everywhere. Modular design for cables, so use only what you need. That helps improve air flow inside the case. All power levels are rock solid. And when running routine takes, the power supply is silent. Best PSU I’ve ever used in a computer build or repair.

It's a PSU
I mean, it's a PSU it works makes sound cuz the fan is there, but it works it powers my stuff. It was not fun to install because I was tired and my case, the 4000D, had the hard drive cage in the way so I kinda just had to shove it in and deal with it. The cable are the prettiest, and they are very stiff out of the box.

High quality cords, easy to set up modularity
Used this 650w PSU to upgrade a Dell Inspiron 3650 from 2016, attempting to bring it up to speed. I had to purchase an additional 24pin to 8pin adaptor since Dell uses a proprietary pin on some of their motherboards. The modular set up allows you to select which cords get used instead of having a giant bundle of cords inside your case.

Great Power Supply, Runs Quiet, But Has A Very Strong Plastic Smell
Pros: Everything about this power supply is phenomenal, it runs very quiet, I can hardly hear it! Cables are very stiff though, especially the 24 pin but otherwise they look very sleek. Cons: when the power supply arrived immediately upon removal from the packaging there was a very strong smell, sort of a mix between plastic and chemicals, but everything turned out to be fine and the smell faded after a couple of weeks. Overall very pleased with this purchase!

Highly recommend psu for a gaming pc
Decided to upgrade my psu and landed on this model as the price to performance was where I needed it. Cables are covered in fabric but near the ends is shrink tubing that makes bends difficult.

This is an excellent high quality power supply. Only problem I have with it is the 2 included 6+2 cables have 2 plugs each. I prefer to run a single cable to each plug on my video card so I had to zap strap the second plug for both cables and it’s kind of a big ugly mess. It does show on the Corsair website that you can buy the single plug 6+2 cables which I would absolutely do but I can’t actually find them for sale anywhere in Canada.

And thats a good thing, means it's working. Get a surge protector though so your computer doesnt explode if the power goes out. Comes with all the cables you need and more. Highly recommended. It is more expensive than cheap brands, but for god's sake dont cheap out on this. Every other part depends on this. If you cheap out you could ruin everything. Go for quality.

Saw lots of reviews under Corsair power supplies that it fried their parts and I was terrified. Ended up seeing this 650 watt RMx on sale and got it over corsairs 750 watt RM series in white, glad I made the decision. No problems, perfect for my build. Get the RMx series.
