Definitely can be used for multiple purposes. There was some damage to the product as seen in photos but nothing that hinders it use. Smart purchase and happy I did.

This thing is perfect and I think it could be used in many different ways. I am using mine as a projector stand and it's great! I can adjust the tilt, and height of the stand to fit my screen perfectly. All the adjustment points have screw knobs so no worries about breaking latches or the spring going bad. It is easily disassembled with screw knobs so it can be stored. The legs also have a screw knob to keep the feet open or closed. It is very light weight so if you wanted to use this for presentations it would be good for carrying around. The top part can be turner 360° so you don't have to pick up the whole stand to turn wich for me makes it easy to get the picture perfectly on the screen. I will say it can easily be tipped over if bumped so I would recommend placing it in the safest spot available.

I used this for floating side desk to my main desk to hold my laptop. Pros and Cons I give it rating of 4.3 out 5.PRO:Price, soft material bands to hold into place, height adjustment, and simple to set up.Cons:The engineering for sturdiness/stability could be better perhaps a quadpod Vs tripod. I would not recommend in a high traffic area were it could get bumped.Size of platform could be 19 inch by 16 inch to fit lager laptop or Chrombook type RT.

This is a great reading stand. I use it to improve my posture… by not hunching over my phone, tablet, Chromebook or book. It can go in front of a desk chair, a couch, or I can use it to stand and read. I also use it for exercise videos, and because of its portability, and ability to go high and low, it is perfect.

I got it thinking it would be what i need for my laptop for setting in a chair in a small room, dont have space for anything else. Its kinda small and the top is flimsy, and i wouldnt leave it on it

Does what I need it to do! Needed a stand big enough to stand behind my couch and hold my projector and it does just that! Has a nice soft mat for it to sit on and some straps to hold everything in place.

This is a great little stand. As you would expect with something this light, it's not going to hold an elephant, but for what it is, it couldn't be better. I'm a magician and like to carry a small table with me in my van for those unexpected times I need it, and this couldn't be better. Recommended if your needs aren't heavy duty and you're not putting a $5000 computer on it.

Was easy to put together and it’s pretty sturdy. Liked that that surface had a strap and some grip to it. One part is the top could have a better way to hold in place.
