Worth EVERY PENNY and MORE!!
Ok to be honest...I'm CHEAP!! I will always find the best, cheapest item and this was true on cables...but let's be honest most often we get what we pay for! I have medical issues and use my iphone in bed to watch shows and I was going through the cheap lightning cables 1-2 a week because they would fall apart at the lightning end (I know we all can relate). After months of broken down cables I finally did research and even with the mixed reviews on this cable I bit the bullet, paid the high price and got my first RND cable. Almost 2 years and still going strong I keep coming back to ONLY RND cables to purchase update cables (from Iphone 4 to 5....30pin to lightning...etc.). I will agree with another reviewer that I believe the 6ft cable to be superior to the 3.3ft cable...but its not a game changer. I've had both and use the 6ft cable in my most used charge area (my bed) and I will tell you that thing gets USED and Abused (rolled on, sat on, yanked out of the phone, etc) and its still the original cable!!! The 3.3 ft cables are the ones we use less abusively...however I will stay they are in our kids backpacks for school use and they are still going strong 1+ year later!! I can't say enough about how well this cable performs...add it to one of the 4amp or 3 amp RND chargers and both Ipad and Iphone will charge fast and last a LONG time (well beyond the cost you are having an issue paying....it will outlast the cheap cables you want to buy instead and will re-buy 5-20 times over and still not outlast this one). Remember the key to a good charge is not just a quality cable but a good AMP charger....if you plug this in to a 1-2amp charger your phone or pad will NEVER seem like it will charge....its NOT the cable!!! Invest in this cable (or the 6ft RND Cable) and a good 3-4AMP charger (we use the RND 4amp multi item charger and we LOVE the results) you can't go wrong. I've waited a while to post this review, because I know how much I appreciate a review that is with a long term customer who will give you all the in's and out's....to be honest I've not hit an out with this cable....so I keep buying them for myself, my kids, my parents and friends as gifts. RND has a customer for LIFE!!!!

(Updated) - fake cables were linked to RND - RND has assured me their cables are good. Please have no fear in purchasing.
(ADD-ON 9/28/13 - 1700) After talking to RND, it Must be known that they claim their cables work and I have no doubt they do.ElectronsalesNJ is the name of the seller who sold the fraudulent cables that were linked here. Please beware and do not buy from this seller. I have assured RND after Amazon issues a refund or does whatever they need to do to research and close my case, I'll remove my comment here. I have no reason to believe real RND cables don't work and you shouldn't doubt them either. Thank you.-----------Sadly, I must give these cables a 1 star review. The seller is great and provides excellent feedback but the cables don't work. I believe from online research, every time apple sends out an update, they block more cables. But you have to update or you'll get annoying messages everyday and your memory will be taken up by the update. These cables worked one day and then I believe when ios was updated to 7.0.2 these cables were blocked. 6 other cables I have for my ipad already were blocked for the iphone 5S. Apple ok'd cables have some texas instruments chip in them from what i've read that other cables don't. Is it true? who knows, but the iphone looks for that.I stopped by a target though and bought an 18 dollar Belkin cable and that works fine. Darn you apple for making great products but being such a-holes. I actually need another one ... more money wasted. So buyer beware. These cables don't seem to work but the seller is great and he offered me a refund should they not work before I bought them and I don't doubt he'll come through now. I'll definitely shop at this store again.

Better than the OEM Apple lighting cable.
I haven't had this product for more than 5 minutes and I already love it. The Apple lightning cable feels cheap and I've already had one randomly stop working on me (Apple replaced it for free) - the white Apple cables also tend to fade to a nasty brownish tint.My cable, out of box, did not have the "RND" stamped to the lighting portion, which is really nice since I don't like things that are overly flashy (irony in the having iPhone 5, itself). The cable and connectors are a gloss black and it appears to have the same dimensions as the stock iPhone cable. I'll update this post when I try it out with my Element Case -- a case that is not very friendly to any cable that does fit the same as a stock cable would.*UPDATE*I've had this cable for 3 weeks now and it's still going strong. Ironically, my OEM cable died in this time (for the third time). There hasn't been anything that I find annoying or inconvenient about this cable. I do notice that the built around the lightning cable connector is very solid in compared to the OEM cable. For the OEM, you can actually see the wire and its sleeve wrinkling before the lightning connector as it struggles to bend all over the place. So far this hasn't been an issue for RND's cable.

Not the same quality as 6ft cable. Expensive
I have been using RND cables for iPhone for some time. I have been using 6ft with 30-pin connector for almost 2 years, and I also own 6ft cable with Lightning connector. While those cables were not cheap, I think they were worth it because their quality and especially durability exceeded genuine Apple cable. My first RND cable was in use for year and half and looks just like new. The genuine Apple cable would have been glued at least once during the same time period. When I was ordering 3.2ft cable, I expected to get the same type of cable as the 6ft one, except shorter. After receiving the cable I realized that 3.2ft RND cable has a different built quality. It is similar to the that of the genuine Apple cable. The cable is thin and the connection between the cable and the connector itself is not as durable as on the 6ft cable. Basically, when you hold in your hands, it is hard to justify $15.99 price tag. So I decided to send it back. You would be better of paying $21.99 for the 6ft cable. I am sure it will outlast the 3.2ft cable many times over.

iphone 5/6plus charger
Love these cables, infuriates me how Apple have got away with making below standard lightening cables for the iPhone 5 and above, I came across these on an American website and managed to find this company who supplies them, they are so much more durable and hard wearing especially because of where the connector is on the iPhone. I would 100% recommend these, had them delivered in a couple of days too
