This is by far the greatest upgrade you can purchase for a fibre metal hood. I've been welding over 20 yrs now in industrial plants all over the world and have always wondered why fibremetal keeps giving us the dumb plastic knobs and threads. If you're hesitant about this purchase DONT BE. These preform as well as the name brand ones by that custom hood company. 14$ a pair at the time of purchase. I purchased 2 sets for both my hoods and will be ordering 2 more for backups. WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!!! solves all the hood falling issues with leather amd heavy glass... YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!!!

no problems, good, just keep the tension washer from the plastic set up, put on outside or it will loosen off, or you can use little blue locktite to keep from backing off, nothing is ever perfect, and these won't strip out like plastic ones, but with up and down of your lid its gunna loosen off if you don't use the tension washer or locktite. 4 stars cause it should come with tension washer, finer threads or what ever to stay tight, overall I'm happy works good for the fact i bought cause my plastic one were stripping out. shipping good
