What do you mean by "regular" rolled oats? does that mean they are the old fashioned kind that need cooked for 3-5 minutes, or is it the "quick" kind

Nowadays there are two thicknesses of rolled oats -- regular and thick. Regular is the same size that has been around a very long time. I never saw the thick ones until the last few years. And no, it's not the "quick" kind (although regular cooks quicker than the thick ones).

I'm guessing this item isn't gluten-free? I don't see any mention of it anywhere on the label...

I don't see it on the label but Sam's club online sells this same brand and their product description says Gluten Free

Is the bucket reusable?? will the lid still close up tightly? i want to store other foods in it long term once it's empty & the lid must close tight!

The plastic bucket is reusable but lid is difficult to reopen. I purchased a tool from building supply store (Lowes) specifically for opening 5 gallon buckets. Commonly used for 5 gallon plastic buckets of paint, drywall compound, etc.
