NOCO Boost works!!!!! Yeah!!!!!!
The NOCO Boost X GBX75 comes through and works like a charm!!!! We have a cabin off the coast of Maine and leave our Subaru Forester at a small regional airport. It had been sitting in the freezing cold for over 6 weeks, with stormy winds and single digits temperatures. I fully charge the NOCO in the cabin and then, leave it on the front seat of the car, so I can use it when necessary. Well, on Dec. 26th, it was NECESSARY. I was able to get the front door open, but the car battery was essentially dead. We cleared enough snow off the front hood, attached the NOCO terminals to the frozen battery, turned it on and prayed it would work. The car had some life immediately, but we had to wait about 3 to 5 minutes. It as freezing sitting in the car, but then, pushing the start button, the car roared to life. YESSSSS. This was a real test and it worked just as we had hoped it would. As the old commercial used to say, “…don’t leave home without it…”.

Dead on arrival. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.
Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Unit was a dud right out of the box. It charged just fine, but will not charge other devices, the light does not work, and the override does not work. It shows a full battery charge but will not jump start a vehicle or do anything other than turn on and show the charge level. I registered it on their website to expedite warranty. Then reached out to start warranty process. They emailed back a few hours later asking for video proof, which I promptly provided. Then nothing for four days. I emailed again asking if they needed anything else. No reply. I messaged them through their website messenger, only to be told that the person handling my case would be “pinged” and if there was anything else they could do for me. Two more days of nothing. $250 down the drain. Noco is massive, they have huge profit margins, and awful customer support. Save your money and buy a cheaper one where you get more than you expect, instead of way less than you expect for too much money. Gooloo and Wolfbox are cheaper and perform as good or better for less money according to independent tests from Project Farm and Torque Test Channel.

You need one!
Quality product. NOT some cheap battery booster. Holds charge for a good amount of time. Heavy - that's good in my mind. Cables are somewhat stiff, I take that to indicate solid copper wire - not cheap thin wire. Adapter fits fine. Glad I bought for all three vehicles. BTW, works great on lawn tractor that sat too long!

Well worth it... saved my butt several times.
I have never had anything like this. Someone at our marina used it to jump their boat and so I bought one. For something I have lived 62 yrs without using, I have used this thing multiple times in the last 6 months. Battery on my truck was going out - but would work. Had to use it twice to start my truck before I figured out battery had a short, would test fine, but then would go completely dead when trying to start truck... take it to parts store - starts fine, tests fine... Used to jump my tractor when battery was dead... I was using a dump trailer behind my truck - battery / electric over hydraulic. Used more times then normal and drained main battery, could use this to boost and dump trailer. Figured out cigarette plug in would charge it back up fast enough to keep it charged between dumps... dumped the trailer 34 times had to help probably 25.

Top Rated Vehicle Jump Starter
This review is for NOCO Boost X GBX75 2500A 12V UltraSafe Portable Lithium Jump Starter. I've been a NOCO owner for years. My first NOCO was the GB40 that I had for a few years. When the GBX Series came out, I decided I wanted the USB-C connection it offered, and I prefer to have fixed cables for the jumper leads. I really only needed the GBX55 for anything that I might ever need to jump start, but I liked the longer cables and that the cables did not wrap in front of the light on the GBX75. So, the GBX75 won me over. It offers 2,500A for jump starting power, and it doubles as a battery pack. It also features a very nice light. I went with NOCO over the other brands, because all the consumer and professional testing I saw put NOCO at the top for jump starting vehicles. That's not to say all others are bad, but I wanted compact and the best jump starter I could get. Other brands do offer more features though, such as more USB connections and/or built-in air compressor. So, there are pros/cons of the brand you choose, and you have to decided what features are important to you. I also purchased the matching NOCO GBC103 case. The case is very good quality, and the GBX75 fits perfectly in it. It fits all the accessories, but the case really is a lot bigger than it needs to be. As much as I like my NOCO Boost X GBX75, I have noticed I can't get it to a full 100% charge. It appears that that when it is fully charged the green light should become solid. Even having it charge over night the most I get is blinking green for the light. Out of the box it came with about a 50% charge. There are also some things that I would like to have seen on this booster. I would like to see a voltage readout like they have on the GB150, and I would like to see the instructions printed on the top of the device. There is so much blank space on the top of the device that it would have been very easy to print the instructions on it. It has a little sticker on it that says to start vehicle within 60 seconds and power off/on to reset, but it's only a sticker than can peel off. It also doesn't give you instructions about the override button. Again, there is tons of real estate on the device to give clear directions. Also, they charge a lot for the accessories. I would have liked to have seen a bundle package that saved you some money.

Saved me more than once. Charge every 3 to 4 months...CRAP dust covers for otherwise great device
For jumping anything short of an 18 wheeler, it works well. The safety bypass to jump a completely dead battery works to perfection also. If the 2 covers for the USB-A and USB-C covers were even somewhat functional, I'd give it 5 stars. But they are a joke. Neither will close in even the slightest bit. Why such a good device would have useless dust covers is beyond me. The thing costs $300. Would it really be too much to ask for functional $1 covers instead of the completely worthless $0.25 covers?
