You would have to check the 64xl to see if 7900e is listed as a printer that it will work on

Why won't printer HP Envy 7158 accept the color cartridge

I am not sure about other printers but the HP Envy Photo 7855 accepted it just fine.

On hp cartridge replacement program. cancelled and now can not use hp cartridge. will these work in my hp printer or will hp block them?

I don't know anything about the hp cartridge replacement program. I have an hp envy Photo 7155 printer and I have been using the Ankink 64xl as they are a little cheaper then the regular HP cartridge. I usually order through Amazon and I just check the ink cartridge that I want to buy to make sure the one I am ordering is listed as a printer that it can be used for. On the back of the box it says the use of cartridge does not void your printer warranty
