This is absolutely beautiful!! The craftsmanship is amazing and the leather is both sturdy and soft. The pages are gorgeous. We bought this for our son’s 18th birthday to put letters in from men he looks up to and close friends and family. These pages hold dozens of letters for our son full of love and advice as he begins his journey as a man. We wanted a book that he would have his whole life and treasure. This leather journal is exactly what we were hoping for. We did a lot of shopping around and are so glad we got this one. The price point is amazing - especially for the quality of the journal.

My teenage daughter wanted a vintage/old style notebook with the thick paper to use as a journal. Her calligraphy writing is beautiful so I really wanted to find her something that would not only compliment using a fountain pen but would be exactly what she was looking for. I ultimately settled on this one and I cannot express how gorgeous this notebook is, inside and out.There was obvious care in packaging in this beauty. It arrived wrapped in paper, secured in a sack and carefully boxed. When I opened it, I was blown away. Everything from the leather, the enclosure, the pages... just absolutely stunning. The craftsmanship looks sturdy and well done. My daughter is obsessed with this notebook. Super happy with our purchase.

This was the perfect gift for my niece. She moved into college on the day of her birthday. This was a great way for her to journal this new chapter in her life. The smell of leather and the vintage pages inside combined perfectly.

The media could not be loaded. I love it. It's real cowhide, Has nice pages, I would recommend it,!

I like most of this. The binding is good. The workmanship is excellent, and I've come to expect excellence from this brand. The paper quality is good. I've had a few of these that can't handle heavy erasing, but this one can, which is awesome. It even has a nice internal pencil loop.There are a few issues. The front cover was bent in when the book was packaged, and now it curls, I think permanently. Some of the pages, by design, are misshapen. When all the pages in a book do that, it has an antique, magical look. When one signature in five does that, it just looks wrong. It makes using that section in the same way as the other sections a little awkward.As to what it can be used for, it's not a great journal or writing notebook unless you want to use white pencil or pen on the black pages. That's less commonly done with text than with art. It would make a great sketchbook if you want to work around the black pages. The largest one would be a spectacular scrapbook. I could definitely see using one that way (I can also see picking up more of these). My plan is to use it as an art journal. I see a lot of promise there, maybe gesso some pages for acrylic paint. Maybe collage some. The pages seem sturdy enough to hold up.

I love this scrapbook/journal! Great quality and the packaging was cool it came in its own little bag with drawstring. Perfect for what I wanted it for. ❤️

I love this style and feel of journal however it’s just not been very functional for me. It’s a bit hard to write in because the pages flap over to the page you are trying to write on. I do still love the look but it has not become my everyday journal
