This is a painting of a landscape scene with a realism style. The scenery includes a mountain lake at sunset. The beautiful sunset colors shimmer and reflect off of the cool water. The painting is done with high quality oil paint. The technique used is a wet on wet technique. This means that the painting was done in one sitting as opposed to letting it dry between layers. This technique was used by the artist Bob Ross who is also my inspiration. The painting is done on a high quality triple primed stretched canvas. The size of the canvas is 16 inches by 20 inches. It is signed by me the artist. The painting is not framed and the sides of the canvas are painted white. The painting in the picture is hung on 2 nails by the framework of the stretched canvas. You can either hang the painting like I did, use hanging brackets or have it framed.
