Faulty product, led to injury.
So, I bought the newer model of this product today from Walmart, and let me just say one sentance to sum up the product: “I just got back from the ER.”While doing some sewing with this, the needle pierced through the thimble 3 times, and the third, impaled my finger. Only then did I realize that the eye of the needle didn’t leave my finger, and was visible from the back of my nail. Had to go to the ER to have it surgically removed.I literally bought this product specifically to avoid this from happening. So yeah, get a real thimble, not this hunk of plastic garbage.

If you're a "pusher" like me...
I knit with the yarn in my left hand, and push my (Chiaogoo) needles when I knit - this thimble helps so much! The Chiaogoo needle points are a bit sharp.

Has other uses!
If you are wondering if you can use this to open those ridiculously tiny lobster claw clasps that come with some necklaces, I am here to tell you that yes, yes you can.

In search of the perfect thimble!
I have been searching for the perfect thimble for my hand quilting. I think I have tried 95% of them.I received this today and it now assumes FIRST position. I quilt with big stitches or utility stitches using perle thread. I am s happy quilter.

Best thimble ever! Highly recommend!
The best thimble I’ve ever had!! The others I had were to slippery and didn’t fit my finger so comfortably!! :)I’m really happy with my purchase!

Their sizing is way off. I bought this one ...
Their sizing is way off. I bought this one as well as a large. the large was barely usable, and the medium was not usable at all as it was too small. I have average sized hands. They are also made out of a very soft material and are grown to letting the blunt end of the needle come through and poke your finger.

The sizing is not at all accurate. I have ...
The sizing is not at all accurate. I have average sized hands, and the large thymbal was still very tight on my fingers, and would not even fit on my thumb. They are also not very durable, and I had multiple instances of the blunt end of the needle actually coming through and poking my finger.

It's still pretty functional, except it pops off occasionally
I don't have especially big fingers, but this was so tight that I had to slit it open in the back. It's still pretty functional, except it pops off occasionally. The most amazing thing, though, is that after decades of resisting (refusing) to use a thimble, I'm now a convert. (Ok, Mom, you can pick yourself up off the floor now.)

These are good for pushing the needle through rather than pulling.
I really like these for pushing the needle through rather than gripping and pulling ( I use both types). They are comfy to wear due to the soft sides, do not slip off in use. The tip has good strong pitted surface which grips the end of the needle to give it a good shove. There are air gaps around the sides, but my finger does still get sweaty after prolonged use. I have bought two of these as I find them so handy and I keep forgetting where I put them.

Great thimble.
Great little thimble. Have punctured my forefinger umpteen times when knitting with fine needles. This thimble is comfortable to wear and not rigid so you can move your finger.

Comfortable to wear
Not as soft as I thought it was going to be but still more comfortable than the old type of thimble so no more sore finger when putting my bears together

Well worth the price.
Quite like thimble but I bought medium and I think I should have bought the small. I like the construction of the thimble, value for money.
