You can modify the lids.
So I wasn't expecting a whole lot from these as they're the bargain tubes but I was a little disappointed when you could only fit 18 1oz. coins inside instead of 20. I was putting in copper coins, not silver. 19 coins comes close to closing all the way but not quite and definitely not 20. The lids have a ring that prevents the lids from closing all the way. The solution is pretty simple. Just take some needle nose pliers and grab a part of the plastic circle underneath the lid with pliers perpendicular to the lid and twist. It will break off cleanly and then 20 will fit no problem. Very odd lid design. You will still have room for padding at the top and it's still sturdy. It breaks cleanly enough off that it passes my ocd test. Yes I know my hands are as dry as the Sahara.

Great product with alittle modifications
They are great! Just know they only hold 19 coins unless you cut out the inside of the lid to make it hold 20 coins. Not sure why they did that, but other than that they are great!

Simple and Cheap, can’t beat that
Simple and excellent. I’m using them to hold 20gm silver rounds from India which have the same diameter as a 1oz silver eagle. Each cannister can hold 30 pieces of 20gm silver rounds, so that’s 600gm of storage per cannister. Excellent value for money.

Geez the tubes are hard to find.
These tubes are just what I need, small and compact enough to fit into small spaces. Looked everywhere for them. Ended up at Amazon and there they were.
