With this I can do a 50% water change on a 230l tank in half an hour

I use the full hose length and the suction seems to be pretty decent when you leave the tap on full blast. however once you've established flow and turned the tap off, the tank drains at more of a trickle. One thing I will caution is because it can take so long to drain or fill your tank (especially 40gal +) it's easy to forget about which can result in overflows or fully draining your tank. Using this alone can be a hassle cause you gotta run back and forth to shut the water off but if you get a feel for the flow rates it's no problem. I find the intake tube WAYYY to large for vacuuming in my planted tanks. It obviously can't get in the nooks and ends up missing a lot of debris. However, it would be great for tanks with no substrate or even just gravel. Genuine game changer for me.

My expectation is really high with this product and excited to clean my aquarium. When I got my order Im really disappointed. First, debris in the water like fish food, dirt cant be lifted up. Second, the connection between faucet and the hose is loose and can't be tightened, if will fall off. Third, I contacted the manufacturer but they refuse for a replacement (Bad customer service). This works really well for water refill only but as I meantioned the connector is loose so you can't do anything. Imagine i would need to put a saran wrap just to use it. Amazon refunded me which is great, and I throw the product in the garbage which is the perfect place for this kind of product. Phyton is much better, expensive but worth it.

I am replacing one I've had for a long time and this one has a couple nice improvements, it has a valve at both end to allow you to turn it off at the aquarium (although it's not a perfect seal) and it also has a small screen at the top of the siphon to keep gravel, or fish from getting sucked into the hose (yes it happened once on my old one). This attached perfectly to my faucet and works well, if there was anything I wish is that it had a little more suction, it's noticeably less than my old one, but none the less great product and if you don't already have one of these I can highly recommend it.
