This is a quality kit. The laser cut parts are precise, so the kit goes together nicely. One trick I did was to use a non-scented white tealight candle and a toothpick to wax instead of the wax supplied with the kit. Light the candle, let the wax melt a bit, then dip the toothpick into the hot wax and use it to apply the hot wax. Works like a charm and allows you to put the wax exactly you want it.The instructions were clear and easy to understand. A pleasure to assemble. The completed ballista is going to sit on my desk at work. I'll try not to shoot the boss!!

the tiny screws were very hard to install but it works well

Built it in about half an hour taking my time, instructions are super clear just make sure you pay attention to the gears that they’re all aligned and the instructions will tell you how and also where to lubricate. I’m gonna paint it next! Super cool little desk toy for my shelf!

Was a fun model to put together. I haven't done one in decades, so it was the right amount of challenge for me.It came when promised, packaged well, pretty good instructions. No complaints.
