For the information this presents, the book is good. However, I'm only 66 pages into it and felt obligated to tell others who may be buying it that the grammar, technical structure, and editing in this book is pretty awful. If that's distracting and disheartening for you as it is me, maybe don't go for it. There are also some conclusions that are drawn illogically but stated as though they are fact. I'll keep reading because this seems like a good beginner's guide, anyhow.Updated: only 70 pages in and it's completely garbled. I can't take it seriously at all. There are random sentences, nonsensical collections of words strung together... As if the author got drunk, had a stroke, or both, and kept writing. I don't know why anyone isn't talking about this. Hope it gets back to the normal writing that it had in the beginning of the book.

I’m giving this book 4 stars ⭐️ just for the content. I purchased this book both in kindle and book format. The book has some serious grammar issues that leave up to page 66-80 mostly unreadable. Other than that, I’ve had at least 6 pages fall out from the book and I’m on page 166 now. Despite these issues, the content (the part that’s readable) is very good. I can’t say much about the kindle version as I haven’t read too much into it. I only read the pages in the kindle format that was unreadable in the book format. But from what little I did read in the kindle format it appears to be proof read and in better shape.

It has some pretty useful information, but it’s difficult to read. It’s full of typos and even whole sections are incomplete. It feels like it should be much bigger than it is, and feels like it’s written from a biased point of view. For instance, when talking about the various types of witches, she goes into much more detail for some than others. One type gets maybe a half a page and another gets one (1) short sentence. She also writes in one section that the “below” details more about Tarot cards, and then there is a colon, and then the next section begins on an entirely new subject, a whole section of information is completely left out. That’s the picture I attached.One of the other comments on here says it feels like the book was run through a translator at times, and I absolutely agree with that. There are way too many typos for this to be easily readable, and I’m a bit puzzled at how they got published that way. Good book for starting with maybe a basic understanding, but other books are easily more worthy of your money.

This book will build a strong foundation in witchcraft. It covers all of the basics. It goes over the bog celebrations, when to cast which spells, how to cast spells, etc. Of course you will not be an expert after reading, but you will have a deeper understanding to build upon as a witch. Overall, I enjoyed reading this book and learned a lot.

I am excited to crack open this book and continue my journey into witchcraft. I DID notice, as I was looking through the tabel of cont nse, that one of the pages just fell out! I didn't tug on it, nor was I rough. It's almost as if it wasn't secured when binding. Other than that, the book is in near perfect condition.

This book was so much more than I expected! It covers so many different practices and methods. The table of contents is a whopping eight pages long. You’ll definitely find everything you need to know about getting started with witchcraft here. One of the things I love about it is the diversity of the spells and practices. There is something for everyone! Also, I know it says it on the cover, but this is TWO books in one. I’m definitely going to keep this book handy as I write and practice spells. Plus, the cover is beautiful!

This book has a lot of information and approaches it from an angle I hadn't considered. I recommend this be the first reading you do when coming into magic.

For instance on one page it says don't use matches to light your candle due to sulfur next page it recommends candles or lighters to light your candle. It gets worse as the book goes on. But there is solid info worth getting.

This book has been really useful and informative; there is a lot of information on all witching aspects! The only issue I have is that some of the sentences seem to be broken English and some of the sentences don’t make a lot of sense… you can get the general gist of what it’s trying to say though. It’s not that difficult to comprehend, and there is thorough information about all aspects including the history of Wiccan/Paganism and witchcraft; the use of herbs and crystals with chapters of essential herbs and crystals to use with an indepth description of their properties; moonology, tarot and oracle reading etc. It’s definitely worth the money and was a great first book I read as it helped me truly get a grasp on all things witchy!

The sentences within the book are not constructed properly. It seems like the grammar is incorrect and the sentences are missing lots of words.For the price of the book you would expect the sentences to be easily readable and not have to decipher what the sentence is trying to get across.

I just received this book today which was a great suprise as I thought I would have to wait longer, so very impressed with the delivey. I have managed to read a bit and can say that this is great for beginners. Very easy to understand and very clear.

Book had some really good information however it was nearly impossible to read. Sentences didn’t always make sense and were missing words. Appears as if it’s been chucked through a translator with nobody checking before sending straight to print. Bit disappointed really.

I brought this for a friend and he loves it. He has always been curious but never took it any further so it made the perfect gift.
