Less viscous than most gels
I enjoy using these compared to the GU gels because it doesn’t upset the stomach nearly as bad, and I enjoy the flavors way more.

The best on the market
Having previously used pastes, I am finding these gels absolutely fantastic. They taste really good, quench your thirst, go down really, really easily, and best of all you don't need to drink water to get them down. Sometimes the pastes nearly make me wretch and I have to drink plenty of water, and swill it round my mouth, in order to get them down. These gels slide down and are so much more convenient. I will be tossing my pastes in the trash and using these gels, from now on. I promise you, once you've tried these, you will, too.

Bulky, not much taste
It seems to get these gels to be less viscous they increased the volume while decreasing the sugar. They weren't the easiest to open during a run either. It's pretty big and bulky for not much sugar.

Improvement over gels
This is an improvement over gels. It is somewhere between applesauce and apple juice in consistency. This means you drink it and it doesn't require a follow on drink of water to make it go down - or to get rid of "that" taste you have left over.The flavors are pretty good - but that is subjective. I like them. Nice to have a multi pack to try them out.
