Durable. Please check with a vein specialist before buying any compression stockings. The firmness matters as well knee high (these socks) vs thigh high. The vein that is giving you your varicose issues often have leaky valves even above the knee. Therefore by wearing only a knee high compression socks may not entirely improve your symptoms.
