This was easy to apply and the colour is a little darker than expected but looks really good. Used on new and pre stained timber.Great finish and makes the wood grain stand out. Please make sure you leave time between coats.Highly recommended

And much cheaper on Amazon than in the big DIY warehouses. Two tins of this (first bought in Homebase, 2nd on Amazon at a substantial price saving) have sealed and repainted all 8 normal sized external window frames plus a big barn door frame in my house with at least two and, in some cases, three coats (on one side of the house the windows were more weathered than on the sheltered side). They have come up like they did when they were originally installed 10+ years ago. They were all revarnished 5 years ago by the guy (a professional joiner) who made them for us and he came back to do the upper floor windows a few weeks back - I did ground floor myself but I don't like climbing up and working from ladders). It is worth remarking that he said that this was the best stuff he had seen for quality of finish and ease of application and he is going to start using it himself on other projects.Still have half a tin left and it cleans very easily from the brushes as well.

Looks lovely on pine. 1 coat was fine and the second didn't seem to really add much to it save a slightly darker shade.

Really good product, I just followed instructions on the tin and had no problems. It was quick drying and I cleaned brush with soapy water so will be able to use it again. Would highly recommend.
