Defective out of the box, Returned and will NOT re-order
Life/Form CPR Prompt BLUE Single Infant Manikin w/10 Lung Bags & Tool - LF06002U by Life/Form I purchased 4 of these infant manikins to help with teacher CPR. I saw the price was quite a bit less than the others so I went with it knowing going the look and feel of them which are less quality. It's weird, but I was actually excited opening up the boxes. I read the instructions and looked over all the items included. I placed a lung in the manikin which is kind of cumbersome compared to other manikins I've used but that's okay. As mentioned in another review, being able to see the chest rise can be difficult sometimes and requires a little practice which is fine. Then I noticed by accident that when I picked up one belly facing the ground, the head came forward and popped off also taking the chest piece off. I put it back together as instructed using the bottom and top tabs of the chest, making sure the head was in correctly and the neck piece was in correctly. I lightly tapped it on the back and pop goes the head and chest again.Thinking that this was just one defective manikin I opened up the other ones as they were indiviually boxed (packaged quite well actually) and tried the other ones. All of them have their head and chest pop off with very little effort. I tried to take a video showing how little force it actually takes. I know for certain my students whether they are adult or teens would easily and often pop these things apart which would make me look like a cheap instructor.I called Nasco customer support as listed on the enclosed papers. The lady wasn't even sure what item I was talking about and then she finally figured it out and seemed confused. (I don't think they know their products very well). All she said is, "uh, I don't think they're supposed to do that" which I won't write what my reply was in my head. She suggested I return them to Amazon which is what I am doing. Thankfully Amazon has really good customer service.I will be ordering different manikins and not only will I not order these again, I will be very vocal with anyone I know in my CPR circle that they should stay far, far away from these. You get what you pay for I guess applies here. Buyer Beware. Life/Form CPR Prompt BLUE Single Infant Manikin w/10 Lung Bags & Tool - LF06002U by Life/Form

Infant head too small
Infant head is too small to fit actual practice and chest is hard to compress. I was expecting a carrying case too. So I had to go out and purchase one which cost me more than if I'd purchase a different manikin from a different company who advertised that they includes carrying case. I will not repurchase this item.

good started manikin
These manikins are fine. They get the job done. They are good starter manikins until you can purchase better ones. I gave it 3/5 because i don't like the smooth hard plastic of the head. it makes it very hard to perform airway maneuvers due to it being slippery and hard to grip. I usually had to assist the student when practicing this. CPR is all about compressions and breathing. When one of them are hard to actually do due to the manikin that's very unfortunate for the student.By no means don't get me wrong. I had tons of classes using these manikins and they work fine and indeed get the job done.
