Waste of £’s, cap unscrews on it's own, supposed to be 'CARP' pole, snapped easy with approx 2lb perch
Absolute waste of money unless you want it for sticklebacks, the base cap unscrews on it's own and the sections fall out, in the first 5 mins, luckily I found it, then it's supposed to be a 'CARP' pole, the end section snapped like a carrot with approx a 2lb perch on it, which is now swimming around dragging 6 ft of line, a hook, float and half a 'stickleback' pole from it's mouth ;?((This item is not fit for anything bigger than tiddlers!

Got to be the cheapest way to try Tenkara tactics for trout
After reading some of the reviews here I did wonder what I was going to get. Furtunately, what I got was a usable tenkara rod that I've now actually used on a small river. So, good points - it works! The red fox version looks quite smart and it appears to be quite tough. I'm a tenkara newbie so I can't give a comparison more exotic rods but I can say that this turned over an 8ft furled leader with 4ft of tippet and weighted nymphs very nicely. It's not heavy to use and pick ups - either from fish or a bit of debris can be felt through the rod. It also bow and arrow casts well which opened up areas of river I couldn't get a traditional fly line into. Finally it comes with a spare top 3 kit so smashing the tip won't be a heart breaker.Bad points - umm none really given the very low asking price but when you flex the rod you can see distinct steps in the bend where the sections overlap and a Cork handle would be a nice addition from an aesthetic point of view. All in - a very cheap way to try tenkara tactics if you are thinking about it. Just add a leader, tippet and fly of choice for an enjoyable experience

Value for money
I was almost put off buying a tenkara rods by the price, but after looking through a few threads on Reddit, this rod was highly recommended for those on a budget.I commute to work on a motorcycle, so this rod suits me down to the ground, as I only get time to fish for half an hour to an hour before work, and need something compact. So far, I cannot fault the rod, it's perfect for me!

Great little pole's, great price and looks good.
I ordered the red 3.5 M and was so impressed I had to order the green 5.5 m these are great looking andsize the price is cheap , the only things I found was (A) The packaging ?? come on guys I estimated 40 rods could fit in this box ? BOTH rods (bought different days) came in massive boxes why ?(B) personally I would take the end section off (its very fine) and use the next section with hollow line,WHY ? because larger 8IB up wards will snap the end. (NOT tried it yet but just my thoughts) would like to see the biggest size caught with the fine tip on.

Stunning little rod
I was initially taken back at how thin the item was and was sceptical that it was up to the task. I was very wrong! The rod handled well and easily pulled in fish after fish... some way bigger than expected. The rod was able to handle a fighting fish on the end with ease and pull it into the landing net. My only criticism would be the oversized box it came in, seemed a waste. Other than that would recommend this rod as a bring along to any fisherman, woman or child.
