Sturdy hose
I bought this at the end of the growing season, but I have a shorter hose like it. So, while I haven't tested the 100 foot hose, the 50 foot hose works great. I previously had an expandable cloth-like hose which worked great the first year, but got a lot of leaks the second year. If you need a light weight hose, it might be a better choice, but know that it will need to watched closely and perhaps even stored inside when not in use. The metal hose is superior in all other aspects, but is not light to carry; however, it is easy to drag across the yard.

Worth it.
The hose itself is pretty thin. That's perfect as it helps with water pressure. I've already run it over with the tractor and there's no damage. Only downside is the metal when it's either hot or cold outside as it keeps the ambient temperature.

Mostly useless after 6 months
Lasted ~6 months before it started leaking along a span of about a foot and a half near the end. This isn't a little connection problem that can be solved with plumbers tape, the hose itself no longer holds water.

Absolutely LOVE this hose!
I ordered it finally after struggling with a heavy traditional rubber hose and it’s kinks for years. This hose is not only very light weight and doesn’t kink but it makes rolling it up so much quicker and easier. The nozzles were a spectacular bonus with the multiple spray setting I can now water all my flowers, trees and shrubs without the hassle of switching nozzles.

Seems to be very good with one drawback
No kinks. Light weight. Problem with the male end not long enough. You have to double washer any other attachments( weed killer hose bottle, etc.)or leaks bad. Male end does not screw in far enough to seal against washers in sprinkler, hose bottles, eyc.

Connection broke after one month of ownership
There is no way to explain this better than the pictures attached. The hose connection with the sprayer came out of the hose. It’s a poor connection. In this case it was crimped. Maybe they forgot the solder for the joint? I want to return or get a replacement but there is no option to contact manufacture or seller after 30 day period.

Last hose you’ll ever need!
Absolutely LOVE this hose! Does NOT kink, easy to drag around, long enough to go anywhere in your yard & coils easily for storage. We bought this amazing hose to replace yet another rubber hose that did all the usual stupid things—kink, spring leaks, heavy to drag around, etc. if you are a gardener, this hose is a MUST!

Some new weaknesses from a new style hose
I had a heavy plastic hose for many years. It worked great for a long, long time, but was cumbersome to use. When it finally broke, I tried going for a lightweight hose. This metal hose worked alright from the start. It was easy to roll out, move around, and roll back into the reel. The metal casing protected it from abrasion and was smooth so it didn't damage my trees or home siding. My first negative was that the flow was noticeably less with this hose (about 30% less than my old hose), so I had to spend longer watering my lawn. Even so, it wasn't a deal breaker. However, after just one year of use, it sprang a leak near the end nozzle. One big negative about this type of hose is that you can't easily repair it. You have to cut through the metal to get at the plastic tubing inside, and hardware stores don't carry fittings to mend these hoses. So after one year, I'm out over $50, and the entire 100 feet of hose went into the trash! I replaced it with an old-school plastic hose. I gave it a try, and now I've learned my lesson.
