Mane N Tail Pro-Tect Medicated Shampoo
I used/use this shampoo on my 2 golden doodles bathed once every 5-6 weeks. 1 doodle has patchy mild dry/itchy skin that even after baths still looked dirty, I began using this for that reason, however after 2 baths (10-12 weeks), her skin was completely pink as it should be and healthy and she no longer was an itching maniac. I used/use only the shampoo directly applying to skin and coat adding small amounts of water with the sprayer to massage it completely over my dogs entire body (avoiding getting into eyes), massaging for about 7 minutes then setting a timer for 10 minutes as the bottle directions state. Rinse thoroughly, towel dry then combing and grooming. It leaves the fur on my golden doodles conditioned, soft and manageable. They are groomed regularly therefore tangles and mats are not issues. This is a wonderful shampoo with conditioners and it does exactly as it states. I believe the cost for the amount of product is a great value in comparison to many more expensive products that do not offer the benefits of this shampoo. My dogs have shown no signs of discomfort in the entire year that I have been using this. I will continue to use it as the prevention of common bacterial ailments is important to my family as well (i.e. ring worm etc.). Shampoo is colorless, almost odorless, and not too thick that it makes for difficult massaging. Leaves my dogs smelling clean not "perfumey" , which they like better as well (they don't roll in smelly stuff like they did when I used the "perfumey" shampoos). Note; more severe cases of ailments may need to see a vet, however, directions state this is safe to use once a week until conditions improve. Hope this helps others.

Absolutely positive results!
My Labrador was suffering from skin allergies and hair loss. We tried allergy shots, medicated shampoos, and oatmeal baths. I've used Mane and Tail for decades, but was unaware of their medicated strength shampoo. After my dog's first bath, there was a noticeable improvement. There has been less itching, smelly dander, and he now has a glossy coat. His hair is definitely growing back and he is so handsome. I highly recommend this product!

Saved my American Bully!
Without this shampoo my boy would still be having issues. He grew all his hair back that he lost and he looks like a new dog. Hes back to his old self and its thanks to this shampoo and the spray treatment. After the first use I saw a difference. This is worth every single penny guys! I still use it to this day even though hes better as a preventative measure. His coat looks shiny, thick and healthy. He no longer sheds. He doesnt scratch or anything anymore. If your american bully has any skin issues, try this and the spray treatment. Works wonders!

Irritating to sensitive dog skin
I like the original product, which is still irritating to my dog's skin but that generally subsides after several hours. This is too irritating.Yes I know this is for horses, but it is also touted as being good for cats and dogs. However my terrier Pitbull has very sensitive skin and seems to react to everything.

Fabulous antimicrobial cleansing gel
Love the product! Can be used on dogs and people too. Good value for the broad spectrum antimicrobial coverage. I was surprised to read that it kills ringworm too. Packaging quality is very good, no leaks, easy open push cap. I buy 6 bottles at a time.

I recommend this product.
It only has a mild chemical scent. It did a great job at clearing up my pitbull's skin allergies to grass, pollen and weeds. I had to wash her once a week for 2 weeks at the beginning, then I only washed her every other week until the summer was over. I switched to washing her once a month during the winter (no weeds or pollen, but she was still reacting to grass, mostly on her paws). I highly recommend this to owners of pets with sensitive skin.
