Can this be used to infuse rum or bourbon?🙈

I would not recommend using these for anything alcohol based. I tried using it to make an extract with vodka and the alcohol stripped the grease/wax off the bearing in the cheap spout and it’s been dripping uncontrollably ever since. The spouts also welded together so there’s no way to properly service it by reapplying any lubricant or replacement gaskets.

My coffee is very weak by the time it finishes. Is there a preferred ground to get ultimate results?

My first batch was also weak. My second batch was much better. I ground coffee to a flour like consistency and filled it 3/4 full. I placed paper filter on top (The paper helped to distribute the water evenly). I did 1 part ice to 1 part water for a total of 600mil capacity . My valve was set so water drips at a rate of 1-2 seconds. Next day, Perfect Brew!

Where can I get replacement pieces?

You can’t very easily. I found some replacements on the company website, but not for the piece I needed. I broke a piece and emailed the manufacturer and never got a reply. The manufacturer is in Europe so I didn’t try calling. Good luck! It’s a nice apparatus otherwise.
