I bought this specifically to put new dust covers on our couch set. Our cat destroyed the ones we had, so I was looking to do this at a modest price versus paying someone a lot to do it. It worked great! Best feature is the adjustable pressure knob, and the three kinds of staples (two types plus a straight brad) are a plus. (I remounted a picture frame, too... handy little tool.) I think this will hold up just fine for our home use.

This is a great little staple gun. I used it to reupholster some bistro chairs. Very good price and it includes three different size staples too. Feels like a well-built stapler and not "cheap" for the price you pay. Would definitely buy it again.

I love it easy to use and works great. I’m always doing a project and no matter what project I do is first of all and I can use it doing any of my projects and I redo a lot of antique furniture so doing the backing on dressers or the drawers it works perfect

Got this stapler to repair the carpet runner on my stairs before someone fell and broke their neck. I t is great- 5 stars, for the padding alone but not for carpet and padding together. The square staples are not long enough. Tt is a good study stapler- all metal. Not cheap plastic. I had to really lean on top of the stapler and put my entire weight directly over the stapler to get it to penetrate carpet and padding together but it didn't always work because of the size of the staples. In those areas I had to put in a few small flat head 1 1/2 nails. Will probably regret later when I replace the old runner as it will take the claw end of the hammer to get them out, but good enough for now for safety. This staple is excellent for and will work well for upholstery - that weight and lighter DIY projects/repairs and crafts. For those reasons i am keeping it and recommend it as I have enough lighter weight projects to fix and crafts to do.

Good quality with good force. I broke the staple puller…. But that might have been me. Otherwise a great value.

Cute blue...why not?! I pored over every manual stapler Amazon had, looking for reasonable price, ease of use, and most bang for my dollar. The SHALL model ticked the boxes for me. This stapler is not like the old Slimline I had at school and way updated from my B&D from 30 years ago! The best feature is the adjustable knob on top that allows the stapler to use as much force as needed to insert the staples when I squeeze the handle. My hand/arm strength is very poor; the adjustable knob turns that into a non-issue! I've been stapling rope onto our kitty condo where the cats have shredded the old rope. I tried it without making any strength adjustments and could barely squeeze the handle. Now, I can punch those staples through rope and heavy cardboard. Easy to load and no jamming! Several staplers have the knob on top, but I went with SHALL because of the extra staples and staple puller. I felt like I was getting a good value with my purchase.
