As others have said, give it a week or so for the birds to learn about it. I purchased the Natures Hangout version for my mother and this one for a friend since it was a little cheaper. This was very similar to the Natures Hangout version but I feel it was of a little less quality when holding the two side by side and looking at the construction. With that said, I am not sure if the construction difference would matter much as the feeder only sticks to a window and has light objects land on it. If it were being subjected to a beating, it may be a different story. I contacted the seller (CJean Enterprises) to take advantage of the lifetime warrantee. They were prompt in responding and sent me a replacement birdfeeder right away. We are back to the house being full of chatters when the birds come to visit.
