I liked this product very much, it seems well built and protective of my device as there a nice "cushion" inside. Haven't tested for fire or water.

This cold wallet storage capsule is built like a tank. It’s virtually indestructible—the waterproof tube it’s made of aircraft aluminum. The Ledger x fits perfectly inside. It has foam at the bottom and in the cap to help absorb the shock if you were to drop it and help preserve your valuable ledger. Overall, this crypto pod is a great way to protect your ledger nano x, it’s a bit larger than I had hoped, but there are not many options out there.

It was a little bigger than what I thought it was, but it’s nice quality. I hold my ledger, nano X inside it for protection and storage.

This is a good choice for cold wallet storage. For me, it will be an everyday carry for my Yubikey. I had a zipper case for my Yubikey and an encrypted USB I carried that backed up a password library. The zipper on the zip case had the pull part of the zip break off. I figured instead of paying $12 for another one that may break in the same manner, why not buy something better?This device comes well packaged in a zip enclosure and in it's own lined box wrapped in plastic. You'll get a velvet cover to place over your USB device to protect it more from cosmetic damage when you place it inside of the case. You'll also receive a velvet cover to carry the aluminum case in. It does come with the pictured carabiner clip.Trust me this is a GOOD investment and well worth the price to protect your Yubikey or Nano's.Note: you're going to need some elbow grease for that first opening.

While I think it's a good idea for all Ledger hodlers to have a case for their Ledger Wallet this thing is huge. I'm not carrying it around on my keychain. It's high quality metal and the Ledger Wallet fits perfect inside my case, it's just to big for any kind of convenience. I will be using it when the ledger Wallet is not on my keychain which is rarely. It's a good price for protection of your most valuable investment, crypto.

I bought this and a soft case at the same time. The picture is them side by side. Honestly I prefer the soft case. I did to the trick of adding in felt pads inside the lid and bottom of the tube so soften the movements of the wallet while inside. Has an Oring to seal out the elements. Could also be used as self defense. The felt pads are 1 inch in diameter and sold in any box store as furniture pads section. Also the tube is longer than what it really needs to be and I wish it was slightly shorter.

Very well made and good quality outer tube, but I’d assumed there was foam inside cut to the shape of the ledger but there is not (just a bit at the bottom at a bit at the top) Meaning ledger just rattles about against the metal not really protecting it… I now need some make shift foam for this to be usable.
