very reasonably priced trainer
We train every week with synthetic sword trainers and decided that we were neglecting training with the most ubiquitous weapon on the battle field for thousands of years, the spear. We bought one of these to test and we came to some conclusions I will share here.First make sure you have the spear shaft fill the entire void in teh socket or the socket and head will bend on impact and eventually crack. you can alternatively fill the empty space with latex caulk to prevent this.Second glue, latex or pin this on. It came off a few time s even with duct tape on it to secure it.This is a great little spear trainer though it is not as rigid as I would like and does not register hits very well.

A Practical Spear Head for Training and Costumes
Bought this for a Vacation Bible School theme - a medieval castle. Fits a wooden handle (broom, hoe, etc.) well. Being rubber it is no danger to the children. Makes a good prop. If I were into martial arts, I could see it as an adequate training tool.

they are completly worth it and do their job really well
I bought 2 for sparring with. have lasted months and easily attach to mop poles and such so yeah they are great. they bend a little which is good, they also bend right back just as easily. worth the money completely. 5 stars.

Very good product
I got this for kids that I am going to take reacting with me this summer. I am very pleased with them, good sized, not to hard, bend when needed, so safe with kids, very happy with them, recommend them with out reservation

Good construction
We own several, mostly swords, from this vendor. They are virtually indestructible. This spear head is equally durable.

Four Stars
Little bit flexible but it will do the trick for formation fighting drills

Nice piece for Medieval Martial Arts training.
I like this spear head trainer, looking forward to using it.

Too Floppy
I was looking for a realistic rubber spear for full contact sparing, but this is too floppy. Opponents barely felt it and when used to hit harder, (for them to feel it) it just bent. Probably great for training kids, but not so much for fighting and/or training adults .

Narrow shaft required
The soft material of this spear head is adequate for training/prop purposes. It does, however, require a very narrow shaft. If you do any serious Martial Arts Spear training, a true shaft will not fit this head. I am unwilling to shave my quality spear shafts down to fit this. Needs a cheap dowel or broom handle. Suitable for technique practice if you're willing to train with cheap shafts, or willing to shave down a quality shaft.

Gutes Teil

Decent; no real problems but versatility of handle fit was low (very small).
Good build but it only fits a very narrow doweling diameter. Students love it and it is both safe and realistic enough to assist with immature students.:)
