I have flannel sheets which are thicker than a normal sheet and a Korean mink blanket, then this blanket. I had noticed some loose threads when I first opened the package and simply removed them or cut them off. A month or so ago I noticed some unraveling of the sewing and made s note to keep an eye on it. As you can see in the photo, there are many areas which are becoming undone. I thought that maybe where you pull up the covers at night or where your feet poke up could be a factor, but this is way too much and could probably be resolved by using stronger threading. I am one who will pay extra for quality. I read the reviews and just thought they were loose threads. I wish I would have had a picture to look at. I would have easily skipped this purchase had I known. This is relatively lightweight, given the size (10 by 10 feet). The blue is a very attractive color and design and I would definitely purchase it again. Yes, I found a few loose threads, but it was easy to just cut them off and in no way would that prevent me from a purchase. Well worth it for me. It's January 2019 now. The bedspread still looks/feels wonderful. I did notice a little unraveling in the stitching at the head end. I figure it might be from pulling it taut when making the bed on a daily basis. I am keeping an eye on it. I switched it to the foot end to try to remedy the situation. I will keep an eye on it and update if it worsens or develops in other spots. I don't recall a bedspread where this hasn't happened though.

I have quite a few plush blankets on my bed, but find I really wanted a bed spread in micro plush. Shopped for quite awhile and saw this set. I love the color because anything advertised as varying shades of red that I purchased elsewhere,,(even brick red), wound up being cherry colored. Not what I wanted. I wanted a rusty red or a burnt orange. No rusty or brick reds that I could find. But this is a darker orange..almost burnt and believe me I do not like most oranges. This spread has a pattern which makes it appear as a bed spread, rather than just a blanket. It is reversible to the same color cotton which has swirled stitching which mimics some types of quilt stitching I have seen. The spread is light weight but not flimsy and I loved the fact it came with 2 shams and an extra decorative pillow. And its definitely over sized! Almost like a king. In fact the dimensions may be a king. But this queen size is okay because I want a spread that comes down to the floor since I do not have a dust ruffle. I am very very pleased. Warning for anyone who has plush and wants to launder it. Cold water and cool dryer. Heat will melt it.

It comes with the blanket, 2 king size pillow shams and 1 small decorative pillow. I bought the black and it is a true black.I have a king bed and ordered the king blanket. I was tempted to order up, since I was looking for something oversized, but I’m glad I didn’t. It is definitely oversized. When it’s on the bed the corners touch the floor, but ever so slightly.I love the faux fur look. It’s soft and isn’t scratchy like some faux fur can be. The fur is only on one side of the blanket, though, the other side is a cotton backing like you would find on a quilt. The cotton isn’t itchy but it’s not as soft as the fur. The pillow shams also only have the fur on one side. I find it can be a bit irritating at first and takes time to get used to sleeping on it. I was afraid it would make me sweat or overheat during the night, but I use a cooking pillow in it and it works fine. The accent pillow follows the trend of fur on one side and cotton on the other.The blanket is warm to me, but my husband gets cold easily. I compromised and added a Sherpa blanket underneath this one. It added the extra warmth and gave me a way to add a bit of color. If you live in a colder climate you will definitely want to add a second blanket. While the blanket isn’t super warm, it is heavy. With both blankets and a top sheet it can be hard to move, if you like to pull the blankets with you. The weight does help with keeping the bed made, though, and helps with the draping.I like the grid detailing as it adds texture and flair. I was worried that the white stitching would look odd or take too much attention, but somehow it blends nicely and I barely can tell it’s white. The white part of the grid isn’t fur, but multiple threads over the backing. It’s kind of rough, but you don’t feel it when your sleeping. There are areas where the threads are loose or long. Do NOT pull them, instead use scissors. The loose threads are a quality control issue, but for the price I’m not worried. The grid sits over the top of the bed within a stitched square. The edges of the blanket that go down the edge of the bed has a beautiful interweaving scroll type stitching with multiple lines following the beveled edges. The grid pattern covers the entire sham and accent pillow.I love the beveled edges on the shams and the blanket. It is a nice design element and is quite pleasing. It adds a delicate touch to the fur. The entire blanket reminds me of something from Viking or medieval Times. Now as it seems, that’s the aesthetic I was going for. It would also work for a rustic or even boho theme in other colors. The black fits good within my theme, which is a gothic castle type bedroom.Overall it is a great buy for the price point and I am satisfied. It adds a depth of texture and design to my parents room.

It's very stunning and comfortable. Fits my aesthetic very well. It's a deeper burgandy than initially appeared. Purchased a queen for a 10in queen size mattress on a frame, and the edges drag on the floor.I'm pretty neutral about the weight. I thought I was receiving a plush comforter, but it's more like a thin quilt. For spring and summer that's fine, but I'll probably need another layer in the fall and winter.The real downside is that there are many imperfections where there are loose threads or the stitching is completely broken. I know how to sew and, while a nuisance, I can fix it. But a person shouldn't have to fix a product they just paid full price for.

I WANTED TO DO AN UPDATE BECAUSE I BOUGHT THIS BEDSPREAD OVER A YEAR AGO. I WASH IT ONCE A WEEK. THERE ARE STILL NO LOOSE THREADS AND THE COLOUR IS THE SAME AS THE PILLOW SHAMS WHICH HAVE ONLY BEEN WAS A FEW TIMES SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOT COLOUR FADE. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BEDSPREAD. IT STILL LOOKS LIKE BRAND NEW AFTER A YEAR. ONE OF MY BEST PURCHASES. It was a little misleading at first. In the package it is extremely heavy but once on the bed it is light to sleep in. I had to add an extra blanket underneath. I do prefer lighter bedspreads so that wasn't an issue. The only thing I wish is that it wasn't so big. You can't see all the detailing in it because the queen size would be more suitable for a king bed. The sewing is good. No loose threads. I have washed it 3 times already and it still looks brand new. Excellent purchase. Thank you.

This bedspread is quite lovely. We find it hard to stop touching it as it is so soft. It is warmer than I thought it would be as is thin, however I am very happy that is is warmer. As one other reviewer stated the measurement are a bit off. It is not 120x120, more like 118x118. It just barely covers our pillow top King, showing the mattress if not perfectly centred. This is why I only gave it 4, instead of 5 stars. On the whole I love it, love the colour as well.

Thinner then I expected but still very warm and that makes it hang nicely. Extreamly soft, dosent loose color after washing and the animal fur surprisingly does not stick at all. Love this set. I would buy in another color.

This truly is a beautiful spread, my daughters saw it and loved it too, I highly recommend this spread. This truly is a five star for me

Looked beautiful but it wasn't 120" x 120". It measured 118" x 118". Too short for us.
