Fun, easy, and super cute!
I loved putting this ship model together! It is detailed and sturdy, but be warned, if you have big, beefy hands and tend to man-handle things, parts can be easily broken. Be careful!I actually did some modifications as I assembled it, like painting the tip of the bow's railing white (the part at the very front, the little tip where Jack and Rose first kissed in the movie). I felt it needed the color to be more authentic, and it turned out I was right.I also omitted the black ladders leading up to the flag poles. The bulkiness of them made it feel cluttered along the deck. Again, I felt it looked more authentic without them.Overall it was a joy to assemble and looks pleasing upon a shelf. The only downfall is the stickers are very tiny and are difficult to apply. Take a deep breath and make sure your hands are sturdy before applying.

Easy assembly
I bought this Titanic model as a gift for my 7-year-old son who loves the Titanic. I thought it was a good value for the price. It was easy to assemble, and my son was very happy with it. It looks bigger in the photos, but that's my fault for not checking the measurements.I think the price is very fair for what it offers. The materials feel sturdy and the design is very detailed. The instructions were clear and concise, which made assembly quick and easy, even for someone like me who isn't very handy. It's important to mention that the Titanic looks bigger in the photos. I got a little carried away by the images and expected it to be a bit bigger. However, the measurements were clearly indicated, so the fault was entirely mine for not checking them before buying.

I can’t believe a model like this would be that cheap!
It’s really good simple to build. Yes it is a cheap plastic and can break easily if you put enough pressure on it but other than that it’s incredible 1 to 1000 scale does make some of the pieces look weird but it’s just I can’t it’s just too good. If you like Titanic, if someone in your family likes titanic get this now you’re gonna need to get this birthday or not Christmas or not just get it

Great product but you have to assemble it yourself
I thought it came already together but thank god I figured out. Only thing was the pieces were so tiny I lost a couple helping my daughter with her project.

Outstanding detail - handsome model for a low price!
I've built countless plastic model kits - aircraft, armor, cars, ships - since my youth (now 69) but got into other things in the last 30/so yrs and had built none until now. It was a pleasure to re-visit an old hobby and build this kit today within an hour, without messing with glue or paint! Among my prior kits were much larger Titanic models, and as a lifelong liner buff and THS member (met and have autographs of many survivors) I was thrilled to build this one. Many fav details (for the scale) include the passenger benches on the boat deck & elsewhere, cargo cranes, hull/rudder/props (4 blades for ctr turbine, 3 for outer recip engines) and plus being molded in appropriate colors. You will not find a better Titanic replica for the price - thanks to Academy for a superb rendition!

The small parts broken easily
Small parts such as flag poles break easily. It doesn’t make sense when the small plastic connect (to hold the parts in the kit) is harder to break then the part itself (you have to break the connect to get the parts out and parts might break before the connect plastic breaks).
