Gives an amber light.
Product was bought to replace 3 x 1500 lumen bulbs purchased for a pendant light.The lower lumen rating was just right. (Better than the previous blinding bulbs).The visible filaments give an antique look to the light .There is an amber tint to the bulb that bathes the area, but in my opinion it is more towards the yellow end of the spectrum. We could have done with it more orange, but hey ho it is what it is now.Quick speedy delivery, within 24h with Amazon prime membership.Suits our needs so would reccomend if your looking for a low level lumens bulb. Plus I learned a bit about the lumens rating on bulbs. Everyday is a school day.

Nice low light effect
Bought 3 of these to put in clear glass shades that hang over our dining table and they look very nice. Although if you want to use with a dimmer switch beware as they blew 2 before I decided to replace the dimmer with a normal switch as I didn’t really need to dim them anyway as they provide a nice ambient light without needing to dim. So my experience was that they aren’t suitable for dimmable switches…

Pretty, but not very bright
Nice quirky look, with an orange / yellow glow, which is what we were going for. However they are not very bright even when the dimmer is up full

Energy efficient and look fabulous
Very pleased with these. I had tungsten bulbs before but they were very power hungry. These are very efficient and I think look even better. They give the same light as my previous bulbs. Quite expensive but good quality product.

These look awesome
Let's be clear, these bulbs are mostly about how they look. They are not super bright, the lumens claimed seem about right to me. They look absolutely awesome in my wire cage bulb holders, everyone thinks they are stunning. The price is very good too. I hope they last, but I bought a spare just in case.

Do not work
Hello these do not work in my dimmable light fitting which I bought them for, they do work in normal light fitting. Can you confirm they are dimmable and why they do not work? Thank you

(Please read update)So far so good with this product!Looks brilliant, do need a dimmer switch so you can turn them down as there super bright. (I do have 3 in one room)Would buy again!*Update*Unfortunately these bulbs stopped working after not long at all. They have been fantastic at communicating however its still disappointing that the bulbs stopped working after such a short period of time. It was 4 star however i have reduced this due to the bulbs breaking.
