Lid does not seal. *by T***B on 2 November 2024* I purchased this jar as a candy jar for my 86YO MIL. She cannot manage locking jars or those with a tight lid. She likes candy, A LOT, so I like having a smaller jar for the "bite-sized" wrapped chocolates and mints that she loves. Be advised though, does not provide any seal at all; it is very loose. It basically just sits on top of the jar so does little more than keep dust of the contents.
