Even though the science on BCAA supplements is inconclusive, I’ve personally noticed a real difference in my performance and recovery after long bike rides. My legs feel less sore, my post-ride recovery is smoother, and even my sleep seems to improve. It also allows me to ride faster and longer and seems to improve my cycling power. Maybe it’s a placebo effect—but honestly, I don’t care because it works! There are no negative side effects, and I feel better after using it. If you’re looking for something to aid recovery and enhance performance, it’s definitely worth trying.

In my 40s now and in a muscle rebuilding phase after having recently completed a 40 day fast. It’s so much harder to build muscle at this age, even with muscle memory. When I was in my 20s it felt like I could look at a piece of chicken and I’d add a lb of muscle. Now it feels like I have to optimize everything I eat to add just a gram or two. Ah, aging. How nice for all of us. I’ve been using these specific BCAAs from this brand for years. Having them in pills is convenient to be able to take BCAAs even while skipping meals. What I seem to notice is when taking BCAAs multiple times a day, I start adding muscle/strength a lot more easily, and it also seems to stop any weight loss, even when I’m on a strict keto or carnivore diet. I do 6 at a time, which is 3g of BCAAs. 1) When I’m trying to accelerate weight loss, I stop taking these completely, including during fasting. I also reduce protein in general. 2) When I’m in a muscle building phase like I am now, I do 3x per day, in addition to protein powder and a high protein diet. 3) When I’m looking to be in more of a maintenance or slower weight loss stage, I do 1x per day along with medium protein. No digestive issues or adverse side effects felt from these from any quantity I’ve ever taken.

wow! big bottle and big capsules. nevertheless good quality and almost immediate better results than powder. (mostly because I didn’t enjoy taking the powder and often “forgot” to take it. Lol.
