Best boots i have ever purchased.
I first bought a pair of these boots in 2014 and i have worn them almost every day for 9 years. Hiking, camping, hunting, working and these boots performed excellent without a flaw until the zipper on one boot jammed and I was unable to fix it. If I could have fixed or had someone else fix the zipper, I would still be wearing those boots right now. I was so impressed that I would not buy any other boot. I had to have the same boot again. The new boots that I just received are exactly the same as the first pair. There has been no cutback in the quality of the material used nor the high standard of workmanship in these boots. Just like the first pair they fit so well and are so comfortable that they require no break-in period. you can put them on, wear them all day and never worry about sore or tired feet. I am a large 300b man and I could not say that about any other boot or shoe I have ever owned. Thank you Original Swat for making an excellent pair of boots.

Best boot I ever bought
[UPDATE 09/12/2019]So I had these for a total of 5 years. Wearing them on and off and wearing them casually or for work or for trekking in the woods. They took a beating especially just recently since I wear them for work exclusively for my new job. They're still pretty comfortable to wear and they don't smell so the anti microbial thing is still good, one of the zipper pulls broke off recently but I can still zip them up with some pliers. Other then that I can honestly say that I got my money's worth and then some out of these boots, this was a great investment I made for my feet.[UPDATE 10/29/2014]its been six months since I bought these boots I got to say that these definitely were a great buy, I'm a size 10 and I ordered a size 10 as well, I found they fit a little bit loose but nothing too serious, normally you would wear thick padded socks with these types of boots. after I bought some they just fit very nice, so after 6 months of trekking and abusing these boots not only have they held up they still SMELL good. They are so comfortable I even wear them casually. I would wear them to work as well if my job didn't have a uniform policy.Pros. very affordable, durable, comfortable, light weight, side zipper makes putting them on easy.Cons. the only con I would say is that they are not made in the US, theyre actually (or at least my pair) were made in Cambodia. Doesn't bother me much to be honest just thought I mention it.

Great Inexpensive Boots
For inexpensive boots these fit and perform quite well. I've worn the tan ones for training and tactical work and really enjoyed them. Bought a black pair for patrol as my very nice, high end boots were just too hot this summer. I was pleased to find these boots are still of the same quality, construction and fit as my tan Original SWAT boots. The side zip is a great feature. I've never had an issue with these failing on any version of this boot I've worn.

Felt great even after I melted them.
I purchased these to wear at my job in a warehouse environment (think concrete floors and lots of walking) and also to wear during a recent archery hunt. They felt great when I put them on and on the days I wore them to work. I also had no problems with them on the hunt EXCEPT after a large rainstorm. They were pretty wet so I decided to dry them out by the campfire and ended up ruining them because the PLASTIC zipper melted... Now I understand that I am completely at fault for not waterproofing them more than I did and for setting them by the fire for too long, but would it have cost that much more for a metal zipper? I will say that even after I "salvaged" the boots and lashed them closed I was able to hunt in them for two additional days, with lots of walking and minimal foot fatigue (I ended up with a single blister). Despite how comfortable these boots were I did not buy a second pair, the price had almost doubled from what I paid; so I ended up buying a different boot and am pretty happy with it so far.
