headrest might be cracked when it arrives
So I bought this chair because I was on a budget, I got it for $120, I needed a new one bc I had this old broken gaming chair (do not recommend buying a gaming chair) and I thought hmm I should get a office chair, and this one was the cheapest and highest rated. Anyway putting it together was extremely easy and very simple. I am a bigger person at 5.10 250lbs and this chair fits me witch is what I was scared about but it work amazing and is extremely comfortable and very adjustable. One very bad down side of this chair tho is the headrest screws were too tight from factory and it was a little cracked on both sides of it but not totally broken so I stuck with it and was like okay that's fine ig. Overall tho it's a very nice budget friendly chair and totally recommend it, just keep in mind the headrest might be cracked when it gets delivered, and don't tighten the headrest screws too tight or it might break in the first week of use (saw another review say that) but yea totally recommend this chair for gaming 100%.

I like it better than my expensive chair
I went all out on an office chair since I spend a lot of time sitting, but I was never happy with it, because the arms moved around when I tried to move the chair, then I couldn't sit on it until fixing the arms.I decided to try an all mesh chair because it is hot here in the summer, but I was afraid my cats would destroy it, so I didn't want to spend a lot. So far I am very happy with it, the mesh seems very sturdy, and the arms are adjustable enough, and they lock in place properly so I don't run into the same problem. We will see how long it lasts for a cheap chair, I have caught my cats scratching it once, but they left no damage.

Good but not the headrest for me
Seems like a durable chair. Easy to put together. My only complaint is that the beck rest hit my shoulders. Which made me feel uncomfortable. So I removed the headrest. Just a personal perf.

Who is this chair made for?
TL;DR Unlike what the other reviews say, this chair is not made for petite people either because the seat doesn’t go low enough. Before ordering this chair I did a whole bunch of research. I found this highly recommended on a bunch of Reddit threads and read the reviews here which generally seemed to be positive. I saw that larger people (wide, tall, and both) had issues with it but since I was a 5’4” size 4-6 woman, I figured I was fine. I was wrong. The Seat: The main problem that made me sent this chair back was that the lowest setting on the chair didn’t allow me to set my heels on the ground if I’m barefoot. (Lowest it goes is 20 inches — see picture). Standard chair height is 16-21” so it’s stupid that it doesn’t go lower. If you make a chair for smaller people, you have to make sure the chair goes low enough. Having your feet flat on the ground is the most important part about good sitting posture. Also, I use a Mac at work with no extra screen (I love the Trackpad!) and the extra height had my neck aching after just one day of use. Also also, the seat is super shallow — which was definitely an irritation. The Headrest: The headrest didn’t exactly “hit my shoulders” but it was more of a neckrest. From the other reviews, I know the headrest is supposedly adjustable but there are a couple problems with that: (1) it is not adjustable in the way that it’s described in the manual, (2) they do not include any of the tools you need to do it as it requires a screwdriver and a different sized hex wrench, and most importantly, (3) it’s a pain in the butt to do. You have to take the whole dang headrest apart. The Lumbar Support: One thing that I haven’t seen in other reviews is that the lumbar adjustment is just sad. It’s only adjustable by about ONE INCH between it’s highest and lowest setting. See pictures.Honestly not sure why this chair was rated so highly. I’m going to return this chair and fix up my old one again. Hopefully it can hold out until chair prices get more reasonable and middling chairs like this stop costing a fortune.

Easy assembly great 1st impressions with comfort short height persons
I just put mine together and in my opinion, it really is best for a small height person (5'8" and shorter). I read the instructions but also found a great video of someone's experience putting his together that helped me see the overall path to assembly. YT Shainu "Staples Hyken Chair Assembly". I wil have to come back and give an update but it is cozy and better than my old style one that felt like it was drilling directly into my spine. As for rolling around on carpet, it's not bad with my low cut carpet. But I plan on DIYing a plywood sheet later. For now, it's not a pain moving around.

Horrible headrest. Picture is after a mod i found online.
WORST HEADREST IN ANY CHAIR I'VE EVER HAD. Headrest is so awkardly positioned & digs onto your back rather than supporting your neck. Looked up any suggestions in the internet and found a headrest mod on reddit & it highly improved the positioning. Still, not everyone has the time or tools to do the mod.
