## Description

All Classic Pro GLT Trolling Rods feature fiberglass blank construction, uplocking Fuji-style reel seats with stainless steel hoods, and heavy-duty, double foot stainless steel guides. The butt section of the grips features a rubberized, shrink tube overlay which provides additional gripping power for wet hands and makes them easier to remove from a rod holder.

**Q: can this rod handle  big stipers and bluefish, 50lb Brad line ?**
A: The downrigger rod is rated for 10- 25 lb mono line. You can use 50lb braid but you need to make sure the drag is set to the rod ratings.

**Q: looking for a medium rod for boat flounder fishing, not a downrigger setup. Will this work for short cast/drifing- kings/croaker/flounder?**
A: The GLT rods are trolling rods which will have a slower action. They should work for short cast/drifing- kings/croaker/flounder?

**Q: what is the line weight on this rod?**
A: I use 20lb when salmon fishing.

**Q: Will the guide inserts withstand stainless wire?**
A: I’m not sure which one this is but for stainless wire you want the copper rod or a roller rod personally I would use a roller rod for wire .
