Red & Yellow 7" Telecom Probe Spudger Phone Tools with Insulated & Non Insulated Hook Made in USA

Bought these on an impulse, and boy am I glad I did. They're a quite usefull size and shape to manipulate parts in electronics and computer projects. The ends are thought out quite well, and the handle design allows for good grip with fingertipsor a fist. Prodding and prying isn't deforming the flat end, and the wire end takes much more force than you'd expect to bend.Need to catch the end of a ziptie in a small space? Tease a wire out of a harness? Bend a connector pin's locking tab in or out? Prise or push on something a metal screwdriver will destroy?The yellow one had a slight burr on the end of it's wire, but it wasn't hard to round the tip off with a file.

These are a little item that will easily and quickly make your wax string lacing clean and professional. A+++++ I was told to “Try this out” by a guy at work. It made lacing almost fun! Please buy this set of spudger tools. The only thing I hate more than borrowing tools is, LOANING them out!

I don't use these everyday for my job, but sometimes the pairs get stuck in the block and you need something to dig them out without damaging the blocks or the pairs. I use both of them about equally depending on the situation. A Good Telecomm Tech should have these in their bag.

its a spludger, designed on the ages old spludger design. I loose several of these every year.

don't put too much pressure on it or it will snap. but used properly, can't be beat.

There isn't much of an issue in quality with spudgers---they're pretty simple devices. These were priced well and work fine.

A must have for any telecom tech that works with punch down blocks. Great for removing label covers on mod jack panels. I do prefer the iv 630 spudger. although this one is more durable, it can get caught on things and slip out of my tool pouch if I’m in a tight area. The hook is definitely a metal hook.

These were priced fairly and we're exactly what I expected.
