Excellent read!
Thorough but surprisingly readable. I also recommend the (much) abridged companion "Gödel Without Tears".

Not for the faint of heart
This book is excellent in its coverage, and in that sense, it’s an introduction. But is not an “introductory” book. Reading important parts requires considerable facility with / understanding of multivariable predicate calculus formulas and 2nd order formulas Admittedly, a thorough introduction to this topic requires the use of the formal apparatus. But this is at best a graduate level text (I think advanced graduate level) An undergraduate with but one course in symbolic logic would not see this text as an “introduction” in my view
