I didn't see any date but i doubt that there is one. But you will glad to know that it tastes like real soy sauce. I was so happy. Just buy it and you'll be happy.,

refrigeration needed?

Once you open it, yes, just like regular soy sauce. But just the same, it stays good forever in the fridge. I use this to refill a smaller 'table top' Kikkoman bottle for dinnertime. It's an excellent product. I think it tastes just like Kikkoman's regular soy sauce, and my wife, who requires a GF diet, can also enjoy it.
