First, as a floor mat under a chair on hardwood or tile, this would be excellent. It is flexible but good quality, clear, and works exactly as described in the listing. There are warnings all over the listing about it not being for carpet which is an excellent point to make, I had to put these on carpeted floor to uncurl them and they were very slippery so these are definitely not for use on carpet or rugs.I ordered two and they flattened out well overnight but to get the stubborn curl out of the ends I just used a hair dryer for a few minutes on the corners and ends and that did the trick well. I bought these to essentially add a front to two bookshelves to make them safe for some collectibles since my very cute but highly destructive Elkhound really enjoys stealing and wrecking things, especially expensive or rare things. I used large binder clips and outdoor Velcro to affix these mats to the front of the shelves and then trimmed them to the right length which was quite easy. I've had these attached for several weeks and no issues. I am really happy with my creative use of these mats that were a great value compared to similar brands and styles. As a floor mat, excellent. As a front for bookshelves to prevent my Funko collection from getting slobbered on and destroyed, priceless.

Started working from home, and now the laminate started separating from sitting in the chair all day in one place. After replacing the laminate, we purchased this mat. It being translucent, makes it blend into the background. its stiff so it doesn't slide around, and it has good value for the buck.Saves the ground from scratches, and the matt itself doesn't seem to have any scratches. Functions as intended.For new buyers, be aware that it will come in a TUBE rolled up. You will have to use some weight for it to stay flattened for a day or so. Just be aware. Once its been flattened for a day, it stays flat.

thought it was a bit thicker plastick overlay works but thicker would be better

Protects hard woods and rugs, but still see the flooring underneath.

The plastic is very pliable and wrinkles up after a few rolls of the chair.

This product is not durable. As you see in the picture of the product there is a chair. I sat my light wait office chair on it and it. Not sitting in the chair. It sat over night and has imprints from the wheels.

The mat arrives rolled up for efficient shipping, so you need to roll it in the opposite direction to remove the curves. Once you get it flat enough to lay flat on the floor with the weight of the chair on top, it will lay completely flat.On laminate wood flooring, the mat does not slip. It feels like it is made out of a plastic or silicone material that is a little soft and almost sticks to the floor. Maybe if the floor was made of glass and covered with water, then the mat would slide. But on normal flooring, I don't see any slippage.The mat is also thick and strong. My stupid chair has feet that gouge into the flooring, causing physical damage when sitting down. This mat protects the floor and resists damage to the mat from the chair.
