Cut glass, no lead decanters are the way to go for decanting port or sherry that will sit in the decanter as you enjoy the spirit for a time. This decanter is very attractive and solid, has an airtight stopper and holds a full bottle . This is my second purchase as the first is years old and still works great but I needed a second decanter.

This decanter is very good looking but poorly packaged, it took me three returns to get one that was not broken! I kept trying together one that was not broken because it looks really good.

For $10 it is what it is. I mixed some special holiday cheer and gave it in these fancyDecanters gifts.

I bought two decanters and one of them had a manufactured hole in it. Luckily I found out when I poured the whiskey in it and not by cutting my hand. The hole was pretty big but you couldn't see it. It was well hid in the design of the glass. Very unfortunate and disappointing. Other than that it's fine. Not worth the cost though.
