Oh! So very cool!
I run two separate stereo systems. One reason is I am constantly trying out new systems to see which one I want to keep. The same for speakers. Bring them in, try them out, move them on if they don’t meet the cut. This little device is a wonder for that! Don’t have to crawl around rewiring speakers from one receiver to the other. I can have two receivers hooked up to the same CD player (using another device) and switch speakers seamlessly while it is playing. It’s a dream for comparisons - or just for deciding which system I want to play one particular CD on.There is absolutely no hum or any interference when using this. I run my A speaker outputs from my receivers to the box, then run from there two two sets of speakers. I have added a third speaker set by simply connecting that one to the B output from one of the receivers. Could have 4 sets of speakers set up to run by flicking switches if I wanted to (but can only “compare” two sets at a time) - or get another box like this and run the Bs to it!What else can I say? So very cool!

Works great
I used this to test out new speakers and amps side by side. Doing these tests would literally be impossible without something like this and every time I do blind audio tests I'm shocked by the results. Great product.

Quality Switcher
A quality switcher that works well in my audio system.

Worth it? To me, maybe not you.
Sturdy and well built.I still feel it's expensive for what it is but there is little out there that does what it can do.I do notice a slight difference in sound. I have a good set up, not audiophile but not Joe average. The functionality outweighs the minor sound difference for me.Wish there was one with a LFE In and out also.

Damaged Old Tube Amplifier
I used this to switch sources from a modern high quality solid state ampifier to an old vacuum tube Scott power amplifier. I did not see a warning that I could blow out the vacuum tubes. Apparently, I needed to turn off the amplifiers before switching off the tube amplifier. The huge power surge is bad for the vacuum tube, and my tube amp is now at the repair shop. Besides this problem, I thought that the switch box dropped the quality of the sound in my system which has high end speaker wires, and vibration control with maple platforms and well designed brass footers.

It's a Very Graffordable Amp/Speaker Selector
"Graffordable" means Great AND AffordableHeard that phrase on a Youtube Guitar site and it really does describe this product.I switch between SS Ampflication and Tube Amplification and this works perfectly! If you think the price is a little high it really is not expensive for the function it does. You can go between 2 Amps and 2 sets of Speakers. It is passive so no extra outlet is needed. If you are switching between SS Amps and Tube Amps you might consider jumping a 150 ohm/5-10 Watt resistor across the terminals of your Tube Amp speaker cables for protection.Just in case you forgot to select the Tube Amp Switch on the TC-7220 when you power up that Tubey Goodness.Your Tube Amp will be protected from a no load output which is very bad for any Tube Amp.Thats when you might see the all of the Magic Fairie Smoke escaping from your beloved Tube Amp.This Speaker Cable Mod is Especially recommended if you like to "tip the cups" while Crankin It To ELEVEN.

Great mechanical build, but poor quality mechanical switches.
Very nice physical build quality, but electronically not very good. I spent ovet an hour cutting wires to length and terminating them with banana plugs. Then I moved my two heavy large audio cabinets away from the wall and began plugging everything in. I am using the switch box to switch between a modern surround sound receiver and a vintage 70's intigrated amp that will be used strictly for turntable playback. I am sharing the front speakers between the receiver and amp, since my front channel speakers ate also vintage 70's floorstanding speakers. When i finished plugging everything in, I switched on the surround sound receiver and heard only the subs - no front left and right channel speakers. Playing with the speaker switches on this brand new switchbox, I could intermittently get the speakers to work momentarily if I kept pushing the appropriate speaker switch.First of all I was furious after spending all this time preparing wires and moving furniture. Secondly, I thought to myself, these speaker switches on this box are acting like they have 50 years of oxidation on their contacts. They would connect momentarily , but we're very scratchy.I decided to take the cabinet cover off of the switchbox and spray the switches with Deoxit. Upon turning the unit over there was a sticker over one of the screws that said "warranty void if sticker torn". I paused for a second and thought the heck with it, shipping was slow on this unit and if I have to wait for a replacement, I'll have to move all these heavy audio racks back in place, then go through waiting for a replacement and move all this stuff again.I opened the box, sprayed the speaker switches with Deoxit, tested it and all was well. I got a lemon from the factory that had oxidized contacts. The amp switches on the other side were fine.I guess, they don't test these things before shipping. For the price charged, they should have better quality control. This switchbox turned my simple afternoon project into a dragged out nightmare!I really don't trust this device now. I remember the days of using mechanical switches on aged amplifiers that acted just like this switchbox when they were oxidized. I thought in the 2000's I wouldn't have to deal with this nonsense anymore - but guess again!

Easy and high fidelity AB amp and speakers
Great simple AB option for amp and or speakers.I had a Sonos amp with surround for the tv but wanted better fidelity for playing music through Roon through the Rotel and dmp-A6. No loss off clarity.Unit also looks well placed with other components.Very happy
