Ich benutze es, um klassische Klavierstücke zu üben, nachdem ich nach Jahren der Abstinenz wieder angefangen habe zu lernen. Die Klavierklänge sind kräftig und natürlich, die Lautsprecher gut positioniert. Der Anschlag der Hammermechanik-Tastatur kommt wirklich sehr nah an ein echtes Klavier heran und ist m. E. sogar besser als bei manchem China-Upright. Das Kunststoffgehäuse ist ziemlich leicht und sicher nicht stabil genug für Live-Einsätze, aber ich glaube auch nicht, dass es dafür konstruiert wurde. Es ist aus den Lautsprechern permanent ein leichtes Rauschen vernehmbar, was aber nicht sehr stört. Anders als die spärlichen Bedienelemente vermuten lassen, besitzt das B2 eine außer Aftertouch vollständige MIDI-Implementation und kann auch als Masterkeyboard an einer DAW eingesetzt werden. Im Zusammenspiel mit einem iPad und Korg Gadget und/oder Korg Instruments wird es zum kompletten Aufnahmestudio. Dabei wird der Ton des iPads direkt und ohne zusätzliche Audiokabel von den Lautsprechern des B2 wiedergegeben (Apple Camera Kit erforderlich). Der im Set gelieferte Holzständer ist aus stabilen MDF-Platten gefertigt und recht schwer, der Aufbau geht einfach. Die Passgenauigkeit der Platten ist aber nicht optimal, und die unverdeckten Schrauben sind unschön, hier hätte man wenigstens noch Schraubkopfabdeckungen in der Furnierfarbe mitliefern können. Aber für das Geld will ich darüber nicht meckern. Das einzige, was wirklich nervt, ist der Kopfhörerausgang auf der Rückseite. Will man das Kabel einstecken, muss man das ganze jedesmal von der Wand abrücken, wie idiotisch! Ein 3,5 mm- Verlängerungskabel bringt dabei nichts, weil das Einstecken die Lautsprecher deaktiviert. Über den Kopfhörerausgang klingt der „Deutsche Konzertflügel“ auf einmal wie ein Yamaha CP 70, was nicht für die Qualität des Kopfhörerverstärkers spricht. Wenn man damit leben kann: Kaufempfehlung!
