Ladies , you can wear this ! The coat is light weight with a satin like sheen . A mellow sheen that looks so rich in the dark color . I have not worn due to it being a hot summer but I look forward to wearing this from fall and through winter into spring .

I had returned a previous trench coat from Amazon because the sizing for everything has gone towards the skinny side, and a trench coat of this style should fit loosely. This coat is a good value for the price, and the fit was what I was looking for, a classical style loose fit, nice wide shoulders, and long coat. I am in the market for something thicker in material, but this coat was an excellent value for the price and hard to find fit.

Wanted a long rain coat. It is that. It is NOT 100% cotton, but 50/50 polyester - has a shimmer. Color not as represented - much more yellow in it. No lapel closure.Absorbs moisture like a sponge. No through pockets (can't get to clothes pockets without opening coat).A few hot washings with bleach has started to dull it. Next will come waterproofing. I bought it for a beater, got one. At the price, one can afford to play with it and work it in a bit. I might even find a seamstress to make through pockets.

THIS COAT IS A REAL WINNER. I WAS SHOCKED WHEN I OPENED THE BAG AND SAW THE MATERIAL SO BEAUTIFUL. THE FIT WAS PERFECT AND STYLE IS AWESOME. THIS IS A $500.00 COAT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COAT TO ANY ONE THAT LIKE LONG TRENCH COATS. I ORDERED ONE SIZE SMALLER BE CAUSE IT IS OVERSIZE. I AM 5-10 AND 180 POUNDS. THE MEDIUM FIT ME PERFECT. YOU WONT GO WRONG WITH THIS COAT. I AM GOING TO ORDER ANOTHER ONE IN ANOTHER COLOR.

I first ordered size L based on the length I wanted. It was way too large for me (5'8") and in fact, the small is perfect! I love the soft plush feel, and the calf-length is great for cold windy nights!

For context, I live in Alabama, so our coldest winter isn’t really that cold. I’m 6’1”, 180lb, pants size 34 x 32, and jacket size is ~42R. I wear a large in most shirts and a medium for all the Columbia PFG shirts (especially their polos/button downs bc they run huuuuuge).TL;DR — size it down for a perfect fit, plush/warm is astonishingly fantastic at keeping the wind and cold away, regular/non-plush model stool keeps all the wind off you so you don’t get cold easily.SIZING: If your shirt, jacket, and/or pants size are/is like mine, I strongly recommend getting a medium in this coat. I did, and it’s still almost a little big; HOWEVER, it fits perfectly over my professional/business attire, and I imagine my formal attire with a jacket/sport coat will yield similar results.The plushy/warmer version is a little stiffer, but that might be because I haven’t worn it enough to thoroughly break it in yet. Also might be from the incredibly effective padding/plush lining. I still absolutely love it, but just don’t wear it to the gym or during yoga.QUALITY & USAGE: I ordered the medium in both the regular and warm/plush versions. I’ve had the occasion a few times now to wear the plush/warm version of this coat, and hooooly crap. There wasn’t a single Btu that escaped my body through that thing. I felt warmer in that trench coat than my very nice North Face and Columbia ski jackets. I was thoroughly shocked. It was a windy, 25°F morning, but in that jacket, I wouldn’t have ever known. Again, I was thoroughly shocked at how warm, wind-proof, and well constructed this coat was.As for the regular/non-plush version, I was, yet again, thoroughly shocked. Firstly, very stylish, coat and tails have very nice flow to them (especially walking around with it unbuttoned like in the product pictures). This one is still surprisingly warm, BUT that seems to be because it’s such an effective wind breaker. It doesn’t tap heat around your body like the plushy/warmer version; rather, it keeps all the wind at bay, so it doesn’t penetrate through the jacket. I wear this one daily to work, and absolutely love it. I plan on wearing it during the summer when it rains, too.STYLE: Incredible. Can’t be beat. Seriously. Some reviews mention the material being too polyester-y or shiny, but that seems to have gone away after a wash or two and daily usage over the last 2 weeks. And it’s FINALLY long enough to come past my knees. It ends around halfway between my knee and ankle.OVERALL: if you’re thinking about it, get it. If you’ve been looking for a trench coat but haven’t found one long enough, this is the one you’re been looking for.

The coat fits well, better than I expected honestly the sleeves leave plenty of room to move your arms. The outside material of the jacket is nice & well sourced likely to keep your clothes underneath dry if caught in a sudden shower, the plush seems like it’s made from faux fur which for the price seems fair but keeps you warm. All in all the coat was a good purchase even came in earlier than expected. The coat fits exactly like the description says and would be good for cosplay, fashion or everyday use
