Review: That is what I needed and that is what I got - perfect replacement for my old 6-station Hunter controller - 6-STATION ONLY! That is what I needed and that is what I got - perfect replacement for my old 6-station Hunter controller. Easy hookup and worked perfectly out of the box, just read the instructions and take your time. My old Hunter unit had slight differences in the method of control, (the functions were all on the dial), but if you read the instructions, this model is just as easy to program and operate. The unit seems well built and is definitely suited for outdoor use. I mounted mine on the exterior wall of the house where it is somewhat protected by the overhanging eave. My only gripe would be that it requires the use of a key - I don't anticipate anyone tampering with my sprinklers, so it might have been nice to offer a unit with just a weather tight latch.
Review: Works great - This controller box is a perfect replacement for my old one that has died on me after 12 years. Easy to install. Be sure to take pictures of wiring and rewire same way. Setup is slightly different than my other box but not enough to matter. Took about 30 minutes to mount and rewire. Would have cost twice as much to have an installer do this for me and it isn't that difficult to do yourself.

## Features

- The PCC is also compatible with the Hunter Solar Sync
- Install the Solar Sync and the conversion to a "smart controller" is complete
- The PCC will now regulate run times based on local weather conditions

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will hunter sprinkler pcc600 replace pc-300? our old controller hunter pc-300 outdoor controller is not working, we think we have 3 stationsa,b,c. tx**
A: Yes it will and control up to 6 zones. If you only have 3 zones then you may want the Hunter PC-400, it can do up to 4 zones., but be sure of your zone count before ordering.

**Q: How long can maximum cable (ac 24v) length for each stations from the pcc ?**
A: Depends on the gauge of the control cable and the resistance in the wire.

**Q: Will hunter pcc600 do manual all station**
A: Depends on what you mean by “all stations” but I think it does the job! You can manually run individual zones, and can manually run all programmed zones. For example, you have multiple programs, (A, B, C), picking one program, you can choose it, then manually start it, and it will run all zones in that program. I have 6 zones in program A, and I keep the system off and only manually run the program when needed.

**Q: I am replacing another controller box that has a power cord. Will I be able to use this controller box to replace it? I do not have a way to hardwire.**
A: If you are going indoors and have a 120v outlet available, look instead at the PCC600i which has a plug-in power adapter. If this is installed outdoors, then I think you need to stick with your existing "power cord."

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ NOt expandable - be sure 6 is all you need.
*by P***F on April 14, 2015*

NOT expandable. I have used these for years, great controllers. I did not catch that this one is NOT expandable as the earlier have been. THIS SHOULD have been noted. Unfortunately, I will have to purchase ANOTHER unit to cover my expanding needs. EXCELLENT controller, spendy for being just 6 stations. Easy to use, large lettering and easy to read dial and intuitive programming, no need to read the book. Quality construction and easy to mount.
